Im Gegensatz zu einem Sportboot ist die Form rechteckig, sodass Sie sich ganz wie zuhause fühlen können. Im Gegensatz zu einem Wohnboot, das fest verankert ist und keinen Antrieb besitzt, können sie mit einem Hausboot auch ablegen und fahren. Hierfür benötigen Sie in den Niederlanden keinen Führerschein.Wo liegt das Hausboot?Das Hausboot liegt im Grenzgebiet zwischen Belgien und den Niederlanden. Das Gebiet wird auch Maasplassen genannt. Die Gegend ist heute als Naherholungsgebiet und dort speziell für den Wassersport bekannt. Die Landschaft, die auch Maas-Seen genannt werden und wie wir sie heute kennen, ist erst Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts durch Kiesabbau entstanden.Durch den Rückgang der Kiesabgrabungen bietet dieses Gebiet eine traumhafte Kulisse für einen entspannten Urlaub oder Wochenendtrip. Die Rekultivierungsmaßnahmen der letzten Jahrzehnte machen aus dem rumd 3000 Hektar großen Gebiet das größte Binnen-Wassersportgebiet der Niederlande. Einige der Wasserflächen, zu dem auch der Heimathafen des Hausboots gehört, liegen auf belgischen Hoheitsgebiet. Über 20 private oder gemeindeeigene Sportboothäfen gehören zum heutigen Landschaftsbild.Heimathafen „De Spaanjerd“Unser Hausboot liegt im grünen Familienhafen „De Spaanjerd„. Der mit der blauen Flagge ausgezeichnete Hafen verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, damit Sie Ihren Urlaub ab der ersten Minute genießen können. Sie fahren mit dem Auto auf den gesicherten Parkplatz von dem es nur ein paar Meter bis zum Steg sind. Neben modernen und sauberen Sanitäranlagen gibt es einen Kinderspielplatz, freies WLAN sowie ein Restaurant und noch viel mehr.

Een vrachtschip, vroeger toch... eens je de loopplank nam, kom je uit op een eerste terras met Weber bbq. Openen vh schuifraam en je staat in de woonkamer, heerlijk licht en fris. Via 'n doorgangetje kom je uit in de keuken en de eetkamer.. Let wél, geen pre fab Zweeds ding, maar lekker D.I.Y.! De ruime slaapkamer met "twijfelaar" kijkt in Turnhout uit over het dok, geloof me, romantisch hoor... De badkamer is gerieflijk en voorzien van douche. De stuurhut is ideaal om eventes bij te lezen. Zin?

Kleurrijke woonboot in Gent

Kom logeren op onze gezellige woonboot. Eendjes dobberen voorbij, de zon staat op het terras. Op het water schijnen de lichtjes terwijl jij het je gemakkelijk maakt bij de kachel. Schommel in de hangmat en word wakker terwijl de bomen je begroeten door het dakraam. Het is een kwartiertje wandelen naar het centrum van Gent. Aan de overkant van het water vind je het gezelligste buurcafé van de wijk. Onze woonboot ligt aan het een heerlijk rustig stukje water, met alle voorzieningen binnen bereik.

De comfort klasse M Plus huisboot, die de naam ‘Hamburg’ draagt, is een luxe ingerichte boot met genoeg ruimte voor 4 personen. Deze Plus-boot is met zo’n ruime, moderne comfortabele boot als onze andere 2 M-boten ‘Kopenhagen’ en ‘Berlijn’. De Hamburg heeft echter wel een dakterras en naast een boegschroef ook een hekschroef, waardoor het manoeuvreren met de boot nog makkelijker gaat. De stuurstand staat buiten op het boegterras. Voor deze boot heb je geen vaarbewijs nodig.
