It sits in a private forest full of wildlife but is only a 5-minute walk to Franklin Street and the UNC campus. Enjoy amazing views from the floor-to-ceiling windows of foxes and deer playing on the lawn. Lounge on the wall-to-wall hammock as you gaze at the trees through the skylights. Our land hosts amazing sunrises and sunsets and a star show at night that you most definitely don’t get in town! June of 2021 we finished up a complete re-design/remodel of our modern farmhouse so everything is updated fresh and new!

Stay on a working fiber/lavender farm convenient to the Raleigh/Durham area - 20 min. from Interstate 85 & 50 min. from 95. Interact with our alpacas, sheep, llamas, Angora goats, donkeys, & more. Shop our farm store, stroll the property. Tours are free for registered guests. Friends may join the tour for a fee. Use of the pool is for registered guests only. Twenty stairs lead up to the 700 sq ft over-the-garage apartment with private entrance. Includes a king bed & pullout couch.

"Forest Garden" A One Bedroom Retreat

A 600 s.f. cottage retreat designed by Robert Phillips. One bedroom, full bath and kitchen, and spacious living room. Ten ft. ceilings and fine architectural details; terraced; fountains nestled in a tree grove on 10 acres with foot paths. 15-20 minutes to Chapel Hill/Carrboro, University of North Carolina; Pittsboro and the Saxapahaw arts community on the Haw River. Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
