You'll get an introduction to partner dancing such as Swing, Blues, Charleston, or Balboa (your choice). In a distraction free studio, you'll learn some fun moves, how to connect comfortably with a partner, and how these moves tie to the music. Ultimately, you'll walk away with having better knowledge of the dance, it's history, and potentially where you can continue trying these out in your hometown.
Other things to note
You do not need a partner for this experience, but things are always better with friends. All ages are welcome, and encouraged to dance. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and non-mark shoes. Heels are not necessary. Notify your instructor of any injuries or health concerns. Let's be safe!

I'm a world renowned dance educator specializing in American Jazz dances such as Swing, Blues, Charleston, and Balboa. I have been teaching around the world for the last decade at dance festivals and in universities. I studied classical dance in college and received a BA for my work. I am excited to share with you the fun of the partner dances that have captivated my heart and has become my expertise that is sought out by multiple countries.

We will conduct the entire session at Dance Wonderland. The dance studio offers sprung-hard wood floors (great for keeping joints healthy) and ample parking (both on the street and a lot behind the building).
