Co będziecie robić
I have been a tour guide since 2014 and have been guiding people and groups from all over the globe. Split is truly the highlight of the Croatian coastline, with interesting history, intriguing background, must-see monuments and captivating panoramic views. Let me show you the beauties my hometown has to offer and let's explore the magnificently well preserved Roman palace from 305 AD, which fully is inhabited to this day. This is my neighbourhood; I grew up in the palace and still live just two minutes from the palace. You can only imagine little Tina running down the streets and playing hide-and-seek, without even realizing that she was hiding behind something older than 1700 years. We'll discover the interior of the palace, walk through the Emperor's private chambers, hear the macabre story of the basements, make a wish by touching the toe of Gregory of Nin and meander around the medieval part of the town, finishing on the most popular Croatian promenade, Riva. Let me share with you the local stories and legends while explaining our lifestyle and the very present "easy-going" vibe, typical of Split and finish off in front of a secret bar in the palace, with an amazing view.
I have been involved in tourism since the age of 16. Showing guests from around the globe the beauties that my hometown has to offer is a very rewarding experience. I have done quite a lot of tours in several cities such as Split, Trogir, Salona, NP Krka just to mention the most popular ones. Additionally, I have worked as a freelancer for many local companies doing both big groups and smaller parties. I believe my strongest assets to be my command of English and Italian, my knowledge of the local art and history, as well as my personal approach to the way I handle my tours.
A rakija (traditional Croatian liquor) for the guests above 18
We will see the entire UNESCO protected site, covering: the indoors of the Roman Palace, Peristyle, all four gates of the Palace, the main corridor of the basements and the Emperor's privately owned living quarters and the medieval part. It is possible to visit the entire basements (42 kuna) and the cathedral (25 kuna) upon the guests' request, but in that case, the guests are the ones to cover the entrance fees.
