Co będziecie robić
Join us for a day of community immersion in Durban. We'll meet at the WOWZULU Marketplace at Ohlange Institute and, after grabbing a cup of coffee or water, head down with your guide/translator (zulu/english) into rural Mzinyathi. Leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind you, where you are greeted by rolling hills, grazing goats, and friendly people.
We'll make our way to my homestead, set on the slopes of Mzinyathi, where you will be greeted by myself and my craft group. Here you will be welcomed into my home and learn the traditional art of beadwork—the Zulu love letter you make is yours to keep.
Other things to note
We encourage you to engage with the community and greet them. Sawubona means “Hello” in isiZulu. It’s okay to take photos, but it’s always a good idea to ask permission first.

Really enjoyed the beadwork experience! The staff was friendly and warm and really went out of their way to ensure that I learnt the beadwork and finished my Zulu love letter. Tina is also amazing. She is friendly, warm and made sure I understand what was being said and done.
