  • We used this as our base in the Canmore area. It has easy access to either Calgary or Banff in particular, and it's just off of the highway and easy to find. That said, it was also quiet and a very relaxing space. We would highly recommend it!

  • Dead Man Flats is just before Canmore, and the condo complex was right off the exit to the TC highway. There was a truck-stop restaurant very nearby that made for an easy breakfast spot. The condo complex is very attractive with hot tub too. The condo was immaculate and very well-appointed, with gas fireplace, granite counters, the works! There were an unusual amount of treats to pick from which were very appreciated. Parking was underground in a spacious parking garage. The place was quiet and very beautiful. From the outside little deck we enjoyed the view of snow-covered mountain peaks!!!!

The home can accommodate 20+ people. Enjoy the privacy of this secluded community neighborhood and the proximity to all of the big city's amenities only 5 minutes away. Gorgeous woods, pond, and nature walks all over the property. Luxury bathrooms, spiral staircase, walkout basement, and modern kitchen. Master bathroom with huge Soaker tub and the two upstairs attached baths have claw foot tubs and stand up showers. Dual full ovens, microwave, modern fridge, alarm system, gas range. There are 4 outdoor spaces off the home (basement patio, kitchen deck, upper floor balconies). BBQ available.
    This is an estate area with about 20 homes with large acreage properties. It is a very quick drive into the main city center. Secluded, yet still a community and not too isolated.
  • I booked this amazing property months before my birthday weekend. It was the best idea for the most extravagant time spent with the best people! We had 20 of us there and plan on doing this annually. Iqbal is a wonderful man that I had the pleasure of meeting a few weeks before I stayed at the mansion. He gave me a tour of the property and gave me all the details that I needed. If anyone is looking for an upscale getaway that's not overly expensive this is the place! Can't wait till next year!

  • Great place to accommodate 16 members of my family from across the country for our son's wedding. Truly a mansion and Iqbal was quickly responsive to any questions. Should note though that toilet washroom off of front entrance is out of order (no worry there are 7 other bathrooms), and, if you like coffee, bring your own pot - there is a tea kettle, lots of linen, pillows and towels - for lots of bedrooms and showers.

  • This place is amazing for any larger groups. Everyone can be together and socialize if wanted or they can be off on there own and have some down time. There are some awesome bath tubs so be sure to bring some bubble bath!! Its close enough to Calgary you can get anything you need quickly but outside of Calgary enough that its quiet and you can see the stars! Iqbal was a great host, he answered all our questions very quickly and we went about our own thing! Everyone had a great time, thank you very much!! Oh one thing we noted, the plumbing in some showers is backwards at first we thought we had run out of hot water but quickly learned that the cold was actually the hot and vice versa!

  • We had our wedding reception here. There were about 100 guests and it worked out really well. We asked people to carpool as much as possible so parking worked out fairly well. The house had lots of interesting spaces to explore and that kept guests entertained for the evening, along with the pool table in the basement. We didn't have a big table set up or anything, so there was lots of room to mingle between the three floors without feeling crowded. It was very magical in the evening with the lights and all the beautiful decor in the house. The kitchen was nice and big with lots of refrigerator space. Iqbal was a great host. He was very prompt in answering any questions we had ahead of time and was very accommodating. He is very hands off when guests are there which gave us free reign to enjoy our time. We had out of town guests stay there for the weekend. There were plenty of beds so that worked out well. I would recommend this place to anyone who want to gather people together for a weekend or week. It is the perfect space for being together and enjoying each other in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with some class.

  • The house was huge with enough space to easily accomodate our group of twelve. The location of the property was convenient as it was not a long drive to grab anything you forgot to pack. All of the bedrooms seemed to have a washroom either connected or close by which helped with privacy and everyone having their own space for bathroom products. The house had entertainment possibilities which was good for just relaxing. Lastly, the host provided us with good instruction and equipment to enjoy our stay.

The kitchen is up-to-date, fully equipped with appliances. The living room has a nice L-shape super comfy couch with a 55" Samsung HD screen. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing!!! The whole apartment was really comfy and welcoming. The app used to unlock the door was really easy to use.   • We stayed here for 6 nights while my daughter did some work at the University of Calgary, and we really enjoyed this apartment. The pictures accurately describe the apartment. It is a tenth floor apartment, and the view over the city is great! It is just two blocks away from the trendy 17 Ave SW shopping district, so it is close to shops, restaurants, pubs and pleasant street strolling. Although we did not meet Tina and David, it was very easy to obtain our keys for entry, and they were prompt and responsive via text/email at all times before and during our visit. There was a need for a routine repair at the apartment just before we arrived, and David had texted me all the details regarding the repair person before we arrived, and followed up promptly with us after the repair was complete. A comfortable bed for sleeping in master bedroom and a futon that was very comfortable for my daughter in the second bedroom. Second bedroom does not have blinds, although all other rooms have blinds. The apartment is beautifully bright with large windows in all the rooms. All appliances in the apartment work well, so our choice to make most of our own meals worked very well. Free parking space available as well which we appreciated with our rental car. 15 minute morning drive during rush hour to the University of Calgary, slightly shorter in the late afternoon traffic. We did not use the gym facilities, but it looked adequately equipped although small. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood, and we would stay here again! A really neat and comfortable apartment!! The one small downside is that the bed in the master bedroom was extra firm, which we didn't find comfortable, but that is purely a matter of personal preference! Otherwise I definitely recommend this place.

    Cute and simple mini cottage nestled in old growth forest between 2 creeks. Very peaceful and quiet. Lots of light, it has 19 windows! Try out the micro home lifestyle! Please read full description before booking, this is a nonconforming accommodation :)
    I designed and built this semi rustic mini cottage as a hobby project 3 years ago. It's 12 x 12 feet with a small sleeping loft. Its simple, basic, and uncluttered. Very peaceful and quiet, tucked away in the trees with a king of the castle view down to Sproule creek. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, toaster oven, 2 burner hotplate, and microwave. Water is supplied by 5 gallon container which sits next to the sink. There's a small table with 2 chairs and a love seat. A radiant space heater keeps it really warm and cozy all year round. The loft is accessed by ladder (not suitable for those who have trouble with ladders) and has a firm double mattress. The bathroom and w/d facility are in a separate building (main residence) 20 meters away from the cabin. The bathroom is large and spacious and is shared with other airbnb guests. Cottage guests have 24hr access to the bathroom which is just inside the front door of the main residence. IMPORTANT: 1 night bookings are not accepted unless booked WITHIN 3 WEEKS of arrival.
    8 minutes drive west of Nelson. 10 minutes drive to downtown. Quiet neighborhood of hobby farms. 20 minutes to the Whitewater turn off. Red Mountain about an hour away. Sproule creek hiking trail 1 minute up the road. Taghum beach 5 minutes away.

    Our 555 sq ft modern loft is open concept with 6 wonderfully large windows that light the place right up. We are located right in the heart of downtown, and the only condo building to be directly connected to the lrt train station. ****The building does not have parking*** there is parkades and street parking available just outside the building at your cost.
    The building is very secure it has a 24 hour door person and fob entry into the building. It is the only building where you can take the elevator underground to the LRT. A tv with Netflix and wifi internet is included, we have a desk for anyone that needs to get some work done. Located right on Jasper ave the area is full of festivals during summer that are just steps away. In the winter take advantage of being able to access City Center without having to step outside in the cold by taking the elevator downstairs for underground access that will take you to great shopping, the movies or dinner. There are many great restauraunts in the area. Coming to Edmonton for a concert? walking distance to the new rogers arena about a 14 minute walk or a short ride to rexall on the lrt. ******There is a parkade located behind the building with hourly, daily, weekly and monthly rates available but the building itself does not have parking***** Overall this is a great location in walking distance to many places.
    Located in the heart of downtown on the main street Jasper Ave we are in walking distance to many great restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping, rogers place, shaw conference centre, Churchill square and much more!
  • Amber was a wonderful host! She was responsive and made checking in seamless. The place was adorable. It had everything I needed (kettle for tea, bath towels etc.). It's well decorated and equipped. Then bed was very comfortable and the entire place is well kept and clean. The only down side was the heating wasn't working in the apartment and I was visiting Edmonton during a very cold week. Amber did provide two space heaters and offered more however it was still quite cold. I moved the heater around with me in the apartment. When I let Amber know, she said she had already made the call to have someone come look at it. However they didn't make it over during my stay. I was there for two nights so it wasn't a huge deal, just a little chilly.

Just a hop, skip and a jump from down town Calgary and a five minute walk to a very local C train line which can take you to most places. The apartment itself is great, had everything you need for a stay and a awesome view of the city skyline. Below the apartment is a great local market, Starbucks and a off-licence selling local beers. Kris and Annalise gave us great information and were quick to answer any questions we had. We would highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Calgary.

  • We loved the place, it is contemporary, and design oriented. We loved the floor to ceiling windows, the genearal layout, furniture and great view of downtown and convenient location. Our suggestions are: add a kettle for preparing tea, a tea pot, some pepper in the pepper mill, and on site parking. The pay parking recommended by Kris and Annalise is inconvenient you have to wake up at 6am to renew (parking fees from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am not convenient) and it takes two elevators to get there.

Sherrie and Neil are terrific hosts, they are so warm and welcoming that we actually felt a little sad having to leave. The little house is little, but still managed to have everything you would need for a comfortable stay.   • Our stay at this little cabin was amazing. My wife and I came here for a honeymoon and we were honestly blown away at the attention to detail that went into this place. Neil is a gifted artist and it really showed in the work he put into making this cabin. It was vintage, cozy and honestly, VERY sexy;) on top of that, Neil and Sherrie were wonderful hosts. They are genuine people with wonderful hearts that care about making your stay memorable and special. Their is nothing I can honestly say negative about our stay. The AC was turned on for us to step right in for the first time, and I couldn't believe how clean everything was, it almost felt brand new and we were the first to ever use it. The lighting was beautiful, it felt extremely private and was equipped with everything you need. This is a wonderful place if you want to get away and relax with your spouse.

It was walkable to everything downtown and there is a conveniently located grocery store on the ground level. The view! The view was amazing from the apartment; great view of the Calgary Tower and Saddledome. The check-in process was a breeze and it was great having access to the parking garage. Compared to other Airbnb’s in the area it’s looking a little worn and could do with updated finishes, but overall a nice stay. Heated underground parking was a definite bonus as well as the PDF from MJ that answered any questions that might come up during a stay. Also - go to Gruman’s across the street... excellent deli!

  • Jonah's place is in a fantastic location! Very close to the arena and bus lines. The apartment is modern in style, super clean and spacious. The bed and linens were very cozy, the bedroom has a big screened tv with cable and Netflix/YouTube. The downstairs shower was great - hot water and two shower heads! Kuerig, toaster, microwave, dishes, and spices, all part of a full kitchen. Lockbox instructions were clear and we found the place easily. Jonah was easy to communicate with and quick to respond, making our trip so much more comfortable. It is important to note that though the apartment is in a unique building, it is not sound proof, and can be quite cold in the basement. You can tell which movies others are watching, hear cell phones, walking, and stair climbing. The noise factor was disappointing, but didn't reflect on the host's availability to provide a lovely space! We used public transit only and did not check out the garage. All in all, Jonah's place is a modern, clean, and convenient location with all of the amenities; excellent communication; in a unique historic building that does not offer sound proofing. If you stay here, try the Montreal Poutine restaurant, Save On Foods grocery, and Rock Harbor comic shop. We really enjoyed these near by places!

    The treehouse is situated on bench, in the middle of a forest, overlooking the Thompson River valley to the mountain across. A five minute walk through the forest takes you to a completely remote and private getaway. Full deck below, cabin above. An appreciation for nature and some experience outdoors an asset. Mosquito and bear spray provided. 15 mins from Chase and a short distance from other fun adventures. Fall/winter: Reservation by Interview Only.
    Take a walk into the wild side of British Columbia. A 10 minute walk up through the forest takes you to an unforgettable wilderness accommodation. Completely hidden from the outside world, the treehouse sits in a grove of alpine fir trees, on a mountain bench overlooking the South Thompson River valley. Sun Peaks lies directly through the west window and the gently rolling mountains of the Shuswap through the north window. Upwards, behind you to the east, as you stand on the deck, extends Mt Chase and utter wilderness. Please be aware, the cabin is truly in the wilderness. A complete lack of civilization exists. When the solar lights are out in the treehouse, the only glow are the stars in the sky and possibly your spirits soaring. The only sounds are your own and a possible owl hooting, frog singing or crickets chirping. The treehouse is surrounded by a vast forest, absolutely full of life. -The cabin is lit with solar lights but on the short winter days, power needs to be used wisely. There are also two very bright battery lanterns available. Lights are the only use of electricity. No other devices, though I can provide a battery pack for charging cell phones. -Bedding and lots of kitchen stuff is provided and a little kitchen for cooking and heating water for cleaning is inside -A low flow, gravity water system provides water for washing, showering with a small toilet and sink. The very nice outhouse is also available -My 160 acres and the surrounding crown land provide you with your own private winter wonderland. 2 km of my driveway make a very fun sledding, snowboarding/ski run. Lots of area to explore with snowshoes and cross country skis. Absolutely private, meaning there will be no other humans around. I live at up above at the end of the road and am virtually isolated from cabin and driveway activity. -Butler Rd, which is my driveway is 3 km long and I maintain it quite nicely. A 4 wheel drive can make it up easily and depending on the type of car, can make it up too. Worst case scenario, I can pick up you and your gear and drive it up, leaving your car in a parking area at the bottom of the hill. Bear and mosquito spray are provided. The ability to climb two flights of stairs is a requirement, as well as a keen sense of adventure.
    The treehouse is completely isolated. My 160 acres is surrounded by protected wilderness.

It would be nice if there were a few more restaurants and shops within wheeling distance but I understand as it's a very new neighbourhood... not to mention I stayed there in the middle of a Calgary winter!!   • Katelyn was the ultimate host and super professional about reception and checking in as well as in checking out. Being someone who is always thinking of others, it really meant a lot to me. In addition, not having GPS or access to data and internet since we were international travelers gave us quite the challenge but Katelyn's promptness and precise directions 2 days in advance made it so simple. She contacted me upon arrival via text and made sure we were all settled in. Her home is super awesome, clean, with a non-perishable contribution pantry from other visitors. Not to mention, it is easy to access from the high way. We also went to the Super Walmart and Tim Hortons across the street multiple times during our 4 night stay. Checkout was really simple as per her printed directions. She is a great host, and we tried our best to reciprocate as tenants. My mum already has plans to bring my dad back when they come back to Banff/Calgary on their own! Thanks so much Katelyn, you're beyond awesome!

  • What I like: Spacious living room and bathroom. Lots of food supplies (though some have expired). Great location near shopping center and highway. What I dislike: We visited in July, and without air conditioning, the temp was above 90 from noon to midnight. The wifi didn't work, the washer leaked water to flood the floor, check-in was a challenge, and the host wouldn't reveal the detailed instruction until the last day, and didn't respond to my messages regarding these problems after I checked in. If wifi and washer were functioning, then it'd be a great stay. Make sure you can take risk of something's not functioning before you book it.

You will be very comfortable is this nicely appointed, family-friendly basement suite located in the inner-city community of Renfrew (borders on the community of Bridgeland). The community is an established area over 100 years old with beautiful tree lined streets and views of the downtown & Deerfoot valley. Easy access to major roads (Deerfoot Trail, 16 Avenue, Memorial Drive), as well as a short 5-10 minute WALK to the Calgary Zoo, Telus Spark Science Center, Zoo LRT station, restaurants, parks & coffee shops. Come enjoy the private one-bedroom basement suite in our home with separate entrance, kitchen, full bath, living room and large windows. The suite has one QUEEN bed and a comfortable pullout double sofabed in the living room. If you are a family of more than 4 and would like to stay, please feel free to ask. There is enough room to have you bring your own single air mattress and set it up in the living room for a fifth person. There is also a professional grade Tornado Foosball table in the living room for your use. The unit has hot water in-floor heating throughout to enhance your comfort. All floors are tile or parquet. PARKING IS ON STREET IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE! My neighbors ask that my guests park by our house and not in front of their houses. In order to receive their continued support for our Airbnd rental I ask that all guests respect this request. If you end up parking in front of a neighbors house please don't be surprised if I ask you to move your car. Microwave, toaster oven, cooking utensils, pots & pans, Keurig coffee maker and kettle are all in the kitchen for your convenience.     Renfrew is a well established neighborhood located NE of the city's downtown core. We are a 10 min walk to either the Telus Spark Science Center and the Calgary Zoo, two of Calgary's biggest attractions. The city's train system (called the LRT) is located at the Zoo entrance and can take you too all quadrants of the city (fees apply for purchasing tickets). The park which is located across the street from our house used to be part of the Zoo as well way back in the 1950s & 1960s! Today, it is called Tom Campbell's Hill Natural Park. With FANTASTIC views of the city year round & prime views of New Years, Canada Day as well as Stampede fireworks, it is a great place to go for a walk. Just be prepared for lots of dogs because it is also a busy off-leash park. Our community is slowly being revitalized with lots of new residential construction. Go down the hill to the community of Bridgeland/Riverside for a coffee or breakfast as well. See the map on my listing for locations of recommended sights/attractions/food/beverage establishments. For your own safety please do not leave any valuables in your vehicles. We live in a safe area but leaving valuables can attract thieves anywhere. Prevention is the best action to take!

Ellie and her family were very welcoming and suggested local parks, attractions (zoo and science centre both <10mins walk) and even a walk to see Beavers in the river close by. We stayed three nights very comfortably and our son was very impressed with the age-appropriate toys left for him to play with! He also loved playing with the children in the backyard. We would highly recommend both accomodation and host to others. Great location and setup, really a home-away-from-home.

It seemed to be a very busy place with a large dog, children and additional guests upstairs with children as well, she was a bit stand offish which was rather uncomfortable Not quite as advertised and not as friendly as we had hoped. Slight misunderstanding about returning the key that seemed to create many unnecessary negative messages.

  • The location is very easy to find and is situated near Telus Spark and also near the downtown core. Personally, Ellie is extremely accommodating and friendly. The suite is cozy and all the amenities you'll find in a standard hotel room is there. I also liked how there was a variety of coffee and teas. As well as, oatmeal and milk. I felt very comfortable during my stay and Ellie has some coupons for popular tourist attractions. I wish I was in Calgary solely to have fun so I could of spent more days and utilized the coupons. Highly recommended!

The house itself was gorgeous, modern, and clean. We had a group of 16 and we had plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable, and the touches in the house were thoughtful, making it a very pleasant and hospitable stay. We absolutely loved spending time outside on the patio, as well as in the backyard with the pool and lounge chairs. Can't speak highly enough of this place. Rana and Arin were also very quick to respond to my questions before, during, and after my stay. We very much look forward to coming back again!

    Our rustic log cabin in the middle of the majestic British Columbia Rocky Mountains will make you feel right at home. You'll love your stay here with our stone fireplace, beautiful ⛰️ mountain views, and authentic log cabin feel. My place is good for couples and families with kids and big groups. This all gets better with a fire-pit by the cabin to hangout around it with friends. :) Due to the remote nature of our cabin, WiFi is spotty and strongest near the head office.
    The loft is on the top floor and has a ️ queen, two twin beds and a washroom. The bottom floor has a kitchen, bedroom (with a queen), bathroom, and a living room with a pull out sofa.
    We're located 20 minutes from Golden, BC and out in the majestic wildnerness. All the cabins are surrounded by beautiful mountains and a creek flows to the side.   • What an amazing experience! From the board games, to the kitchen full of everything you could possibly need, this comfortable, but spacious chalet was a great experience. It was very clean, the fireplace was a very cozy feature, and the location is perfect, as it is a couple hours away from the Lussier hot springs, and close to Golden too! We had an amazing time, and Tina's check-in messages asking how everything is going and making sure we are comfortable and happy was very appreciated and thoughtful. We would absolutely choose Tina again for next time we want a chalet in Golden. Thank you for the hospitality!

  • We had a very nice stay in Tina’s Chalet. It was very quiet and the beds are comfortable, the chalet has enough room for a family of four to rest and eat after day trips in the national park. The communication was great; Tina and co-host Gene were very responsive on our questions and request. Tina sent detail instruction before we arrive. Tina discloses that Wifi is not strong in the property description, so we have prepared for that. We found that the Wifi signal is stronger outside the chalet, and closer to the parking area the better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thank you Tina and Gene!

The workmanship within the tree house is beautiful from both Debbie and Mikes handiwork which allows fir a perfect get away . You will spend the first day admiring all the art-full big and little touches there are. You will spend the second day discussing how anyone could work so hard to create such a place. And the next day will be spent patting yourself on the back that you managed to find the tree house on air BnB. A must see.   • My best friend of 29 years and I were looking for a place to unwind and escape from civilization and technology for a couple days. I booked this place without telling my friend. He was assuming we would be at a condo or a cabin and when he saw it he said it couldn't have been any more perfect. Communication was great and quick between Mike and Debbie. Mike gave us the history of the treehouse build and the land that its on. Mike gave us a tour and ensured we knew how everything worked. Since there was no one staying in the cabin we also had a chance to check it out. We were able to go out on the dock and take the canoe for a rip. In the evening we went for a hike down a couple of the many marked paths. One evening we started a fire and just chatted under the stars while watching fireflies over the pond. Tons of nature including birds, deer and fish everywhere you look. Mike and Debbie let us be but also were available if we needed them. The place is magnificent and creation is unreal. Mike built this place and it has everything you need including all components of a kitchen, hot water on demand for showering, toilet, two beds and is two stories tall. Multiple hand carvings scattered throughout the tree house and unique characteristics everywhere you look. We spent our time, play cards, building crafts, telling stories and expanding our minds. This was just what we needed for a magical trip in the woods. We will be back and would recommend it to everyone whether you come solo, with a friend or significant other.

    Fall/winter: Reservation by Interview Only. Situated on the face of Mt Chase, this 100 yr old cabin can accommodate from 1 to 7 people very comfortably. Completely private, surrounded by a peaceful wilderness, you step out of time and back into nature. Please be aware, the cabin is truly in the wilderness. When the solar lights are out in the cabin, the only glow are the stars and your flashlight. The only sounds, your own and the forest. Love of nature & the outdoors required.
    Cabin is nestled on the face of Mt Chase in a completely private, quiet natural space. Completely off the grid, you are engulfed in the simplicity of nature. Lighting is solar and heating is by propane heater. Small kitchen inside and a summer kitchen is set up on the porch for washing dishes. There are 2 double beds and 3 single beds, 2 private bedrooms -The cabin is lit with solar lights but on the short winter days, power needs to be used wisely. There are also two very bright battery lanterns available. Lights are the only use of electricity. No other devices, though I can provide a battery pack for charging cell phones. -Bedding and lots of kitchen stuff is provided and a little kitchen for cooking and heating water for cleaning is inside -A low flow, gravity water system provides water for washing, showering with a and sink. The very nice outhouse is also available -My 160 acres and the surrounding crown land provide you with your own private winter wonderland. 2 km of my driveway make a very fun sledding, snowboarding/ski run. Lots of area to explore with snowshoes and cross country skis. Absolutely private, meaning there will be no other humans around. I live at up above at the end of the road and am virtually isolated from cabin and driveway activity.
    The cabin is a 15 minute drive off the Transcanada Highway though you feel as if you have stepped into the middle of nowhere. Completely surrounded by nature and quiet, there are no visible neighbors. A quick trip will take you to many fun and interesting adventures.

  • We had an amazing stay with Marjorie. She greeted us and welcomed us so well, and provided us with a homemade breakfast each morning. The cabin is in a fantastic location with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the peace and quiet the cabin offered. We enjoyed visiting local Pillar Lake and hiring a pontoon for the afternoon. We also enjoyed the local wildlife. Whilst at the cabin, we saw one adult bear and three cubs. It was a really special experience.

    Incredible value for your money in Canada's Palm Springs playground on the lake. A quiet, clean and quaint heritage artist's house in a village of 1950's bungalows at the base of Knox Mountain only 20 minutes walk away from downtown. No children. No pets. Lovely feeling of stepping into a calmer past with all of imperfections and sense of character that come with a heritage home. You will not find another host with as much experience and as many positive reviews in all of Kelowna.
    Incredible value for your stay. Two twin beds, desk, chest of drawers, fast wifi. Basket of supplies in the room. Toiletries in bathroom. Step in the door and the experience begins. Bright colors, heritage furniture, a book shelf full of self help and spiritual books for your use. Colorful walls are hung with the works of the artist owner. People describe it as "quaint", "a sanctuary" and "adorable". In season, roses line the front yard and the walk way to the house has welcoming lavender on both sides. Artist's house with the owner's art on every wall. All art works are for sale. The character house built in 1946 for returning veterans sits in the peaceful north end neighbourhood beneath the trails of Knox Mountain. Walk or drive the road up Knox to see the vista of Okanagan Lake spread beneath. One trail leads to Paul's Tomb a lovely, secluded swimming hole. The nature trail up Knox Mountain allows for a stunning site to photograph all of Okanagan Lake. Parking available and free directly in front of the house. Very safe and secure neighbourhood. Room is 159.5 square feet. wifi, and use of laundry facilities. Quiet house with no pets or children. Shared use of kitchen. Shared bathroom with adjoining room. Towels and wash cloths provided. Bathrobe provided. Slippers provided. Toiletries provided. Hair dryer on demand. Iron and ironing board available for the asking. Two free bikes and helmets to use during your stay.   • Amazing house! Bigger than expected Wished I had read Ryan’s separate direction instructions as the (Hidden by Airbnb) doesn’t take you to the right location. We had spent 5 nights in total and everything was amazing. Wished it was a little closer to Banff and Yoho as we spent around 1 hr 30 min coming home at night after we had visited all the sites around Banff and Yoho. There were constructions going on the main road and adding the slow speed limit we realized it took us longer to arrive back at the house. Our last day we spend it in Glacier National Oark which was an hour from the house. We appreciated the house a it was secluded from the rest especially that the parks got so busy with tourists and overwhelming at times. It was exactly what we needed at the end of day. Thank you Ryan for offering such a great place. We would definitely reccomend.

  • We booked Ryan's house for our vacation to Banff. We were a bit worries at the beginning because it is an hour or two away from some of the lakes and trails we wanted to go to, but the drive was so scenic that it ended up not being an issue at all. The house itself is stunning; it's remote and quiet and you get to fall asleep with the sounds of the river in your backyard. We temporarily lost power one day due to a fallen tree knocking the power out, but Ryan was so helpful and brought us water and offered assistance. Overall, this was a great place to come home to after a long day of hiking to lick our wounds and sleep on a comfortable bed. I hope we make it back soon!

  • This was our second stay at the Tranquil Lakefront Retreat and it was just as great as the first! This is a beautiful place to unplug and relax from the business of everyday life. My wife and I loved sitting by the fire in the evening on the lake shore surrounded by the peace and quiet (I swear there was no one on the lake!). The Cabin had everything we needed and then some.   • I stayed at Donna's cabin for five nights (July 30-August 4) with my 10 year old son. It was a perfect cabin experience. Rosen Lake is beautiful and the water is great for swimming. We did a lot of canoeing and kayaking and enjoyed the abundant wildlife (including loons, turtles, deer and birds of prey). The cabin is very well equipped and the view from the deck is just spectacular! My son said it was the best vacation he has ever had.

  • We were a family of 4 travelling from Edmonton stayed at Ross's place for 4 nights. This stay was one of the best BnB experience we had in a long time. Ross is an exemplary host, everything was so organized. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and some music. There were clear instructions for everything including check in now checkout. The house were extremely clean, with comfortable beds n clean linens. There is also a very beautiful lavender garden in the backyard. The kitchen was well stocked with all basic stuff for cooking. The washrooms were super clean as well with lots of fresh towels available for use. The place itself is very conveniently located in the centre of the city with easy accessibility to downtown, beach, grocery etc. We will definitely stay at his place on our next visit to Kelowna and will be recommending them to our friends as well.

  • For a first time AirBNB, this place had everything one could possibly ask for. A guidebook can be found with hand-picked destinations for sight-seeing, grocery shopping, and recreational fun! The beds are super comfortable, the entire bungalow has such a modern style with pieces of photographical art hung on the walls to compliment it all. The location is so close to almost everything that I never took the bus or a taxi anywhere. I just walked wherever I wanted to go. I can not thank Ross enough for making this first-time experience extremely easy with his prompt responses and detailed recommendations. I'll definitely be coming here again once I get back to Kelowna again!

  • This was one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. There was a lot that I liked. The location for me was really great. My friend and I were in town for wine tasting and it was very close to the airport - 10-15 mins and very close to a lot of the East Kelowna wineries. I was able to jog downtown in less than 10 minutes and be by the lake, so it was perfect. Ross is really on his game for hosting and is a real pro. We had a beautiful bottle of white wine waiting for us with wine glasses ready to go, he had snacks in the kitchen, San Pelligrino in the fridge and almond milk and juice for the morning. The bathroom was well stocked with cotton balls and q-tips and the towels were plentiful and plush. The beds were comfortable & the kitchen had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The air con and lights were on and music was playing when we arrived which made us feel welcome. My boyfriend was with us and didn't go wine tasting so he was able to set up nicely in the office and work during the morning & head to the nearby beach in the afternoon. Check in and check out was super easy. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. I had been traveling and needed to do some laundry and was able to get that done very quickly in the top of the line washer and dryer and I didn't have to run out to buy soap as everything was provided. Unfortunatly we did not get a chance to meet Ross but every email I sent was responded to either by him or his assistants within minutes. I highly recommend staying here.

  • Gerard took great care of us from booking all the way through to check out. It's obvious to see the passion and love that this family has for the horses and their property and their eagerness to share as great hosts. The property is set up on a ridge overlooking Invermere and the mountains, the view is spectacular. We went in March so the barn was where we spent most of our time as the road was slippery and muddy, but the barn is exceptionally comfortable, clean, and can be kept toasty warm. The sound system was great for entertaining and there is comfy seating by the fire for relaxing. Bring slippers for indoors. :) the beds, and pillows were comfy. The fire pit was fun and having music outside was a fun feature. Would recommend this place for large family and friend groups and events.

The barn is unique and authentic and the surrounding views are unbeatable. Incredible stargazing too! We loved meeting the horses, farm dogs and resident cat. Our 600 sf open concept furnished studio has large panorama windows, and a well equipped kitchenette so you can prepare your own meals. We also offer complementary coffee and tea. It is great for families, solo travellers and couples.
    My husband Jens and I have built the guesthouse ourselves from lumber we cut down on the property. Jens is a woodworker and this was one of his dream projects. The Suite is located above our carport about 50 meters from the Main House. It has its private entrance. We can accommodate up to 4 adults.

Waking up to the light coming through a huge window overlooking the forest was awesome! We have some board games as well for those rainy days or for entertaining your kids. Our suite will sleep up to 4 individuals. Smart TV with Netflix & Free WIFI we don’t have cable because we live in the wonderful Okanagan and feel our guests enjoy spending their time touring then watching tv all day. This is a brand new construction 1 bedroom legal suite with your own laundry and full bathroom. Huge walk in closet for your gear from clothing to skis and golf clubs. New Serta Queen mattress in the bedroom.
    Black Mountain is a quiet residential neighborhood. 5 Minutes down the hill to Starbucks & all the amenities you will need. 1 KM away from Black Mountain Golf course, 35 minutes to Big White Ski area. 15 minutes from downtown Kelowna. There are also lots of hiking trails up behind our house with fantastic city views!

  • This condo is in an outstanding location. I booked it to host a girls weekend. I am from Calgary but I wanted something central, out of the ordinary and a memorable experience for my closest friends. This space did not disappoint. First off, the views are outstanding! It took our breath away. Mornings were gorgeous sitting on the patio furniture, drinking coffee in the sun. Everything was clean and extremely comfortable. David was an outstanding host and I can see why his rental is so popular. Definitely worth the price. My only critique was entering the building for the first time. We attribute difficulty finding the underground parking doors to (Hidden by Airbnb) maps. The front of the building faces the river, (Hidden by Airbnb) maps sent us on the opposite side and we had to circle the building a few times. Once we located the entrance to the underground parking, we found it was nerve wracking and although David’s directions were pretty clear it took us a bit to get our bearings and find the parking stall. Once we parked we turned the opposite direction accidentally, entered the wrong set of glass doors and unknowingly got into the elevator of the building beside ours! Thankfully, everyone was extremely helpful and we eventually found our abode. No fault of David, I just think we were out of our element! Once we caught on, all was well. Excited to have another opportunity to book and stay here again!

The 2nd bedroom has a double sized bed, and a full bathroom (has a tub) just steps away. Toiletries included in the bathrooms: shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also a hair dryer in each bathroom.   • Our stay at Iris and Andrew's condo began very well. Great communication, friendly greeting, great parking spot, bright super clean space. We went for dinner immediately after checking in, so didn't realize until we returned later in the evening that the space was strongly scented by a plug-in air freshener which both my husband and I are sensitive/allergic to. Also, the mattresses on the beds had a very soft "memory foam" topper which we are simply unable to sleep on. After a night of insomnia, we checked out early the next morning and our hosts were kind enough to refund payment for the second night of our booking. In retrospect, we should have asked more questions, and in future definitely will.
