We are in the heart of the Umpqua Valley wine country, with many internationally-awarded wineries within a few minutes. The house is upscale yet homey, with 2 outdoor decks and a covered porch. ...interesting antiques --- and the newly-remodeled kitchen has EVERYTHING you need, including many small kitchen appliances and an outdoor 6-burner gas grill. (Make your own blackberry gelato!) I even have a "S'mores Kit", complete with a little hibachi on the back deck. :) The owners in the old farmhouse nearby would love to help you with travel ideas, and can point out what is ripe in the garden. It's a beautiful 45-minute drive to the North Umpqua River for world-famous fly-fishing, rafting and many miles of hiking trails and waterfalls. From there it's only another hour and a half to Crater Lake! We are 3 hours south of Portland and an hour south of Eugene (and the University of Oregon Ducks!), at the end of a valley of fruit trees and vegetable farms. Your views are only of hazelnut orchards, mountains, fields and vineyards. Private, secluded 800-foot river beach is at the end of the farm field--- 5 minutes' walk or a couple minutes' drive. There is a great "treehouse deck" overlooking the water with a small BBQ grill and a gorgeous view of our secluded swimming hole on the Umpqua River (swimming for all ages, and I have two kayaks to borrow!). Sit on our little river dock to fish for small-mouth bass or take your boat out from the nearby Umpqua Boat Landing for steehead and trout (and bass, I think!).... fun for the whole family. Large outdoor play structure for children, plus 2 high chairs and a Pack-n-Play. I have two comfy covered-foam single mattresses, and four tents for camping, with pads. Lots of outdoor games for your three acres, and indoor ones for rainy days, along with an extensive movie and book collection, for young and old and everywhere in the middle. Large gas grill; shade-dappled front deck overlooking Valley's End Farm ---with the Callahan mountains across the Umpqua River and the hazelnut orchard next door. In season, we have many kinds of fruit, veggies and berries you can pick--and ask if the hens are laying! The back (private) deck overlooks the pinot noir vineyard, the children's play structure and Mt. Tyee. The light-filled house is homey, with comfortable furniture and antiques, books and historical Oregon photographs everywhere. There is original art in all the rooms, courtesy of my plein-air painter friends and artistic guests! Go wine tasting minutes away... The Umpqua Valley is now the 4th-most visited wine region in the country, and our many beautiful wineries (such as Prayer Rock, Abacela and Hillcrest) win international awards. Crater Lake is a 2 1/2-hour drive along the amazing North Umpqua. Golfing is six miles away, boat landing, 3/4 mile. 1 hour to the wild Oregon coast for beach combing, whale-watching, charter fishing or storm-watching. Don't forget the Wildlife Safari, if you have kids! Half an hour brings you to drive among the free-ranging giraffes, inquisitive emus, snorting rhinos... .A quarter-mile away from us is the Lighthouse Center Bakery and Cafe--- wonderful (and generous!) vegetarian lunches, great "sticky buns", pastries and fabulous brick-oven artisanal bread.... hot from the oven at 11 a.m.! Hard to resist. Have a latte with a sour-plum turnover in the rose-covered gazebo out back! Valley's End proudly welcomes all races, all religions, all nationalities, all orientations and all genders.
  • Great place for a family get-away. Plenty to do inside and out in a scenic location.

  • We had an awesome time staying here. The house is well situated for local wine tasting. The riverside deck is a great summer night's setting with wine! The house itself has a very nice modern kitchen that we used to a full extent while we stayed, along with an internal and external dining area. Kevin was very accommodating- even before we arrived she had already told me about the harvest and provided directions. We were lucky enough to arrive while she had some fresh produce, which she offered to us, along with fresh bread.

  • We enjoyed our stay very much. We were greeted with a smile and the information in the house book was very helpful. I loved the double oven as I was cooking for my entire family for a special dinner. the house is wonderful and the rooms comfortable. We enjoyed our walk down to the river even though it was the middle of winter!

  • Due to a health emergency we had to cancel and reschedule our stay at Kevin's place. He was extremely gracious and helpful. We are so looking forward to staying here in the future.

  • The host was there to greet us upon arrival and give us the nickel tour. Couldn't have been happier to tour the property and discover that the farm and and its house were better than advertised. I'm talking MUCH better. I know, hard to believe, but it's true!! There wasn't anything that wasn't provided in the house, after I finally found the corkscrew......I can tell you that my whole family was thrilled to be there and hated to leave.

  • Kevin was a wonderful hostess and genuinely nice person. Our family visited Valley's End as the last leg of our vacation touring Washington and Oregon. The guest house was very comfortable, spacious, well equipped, and had central air conditioning. Our family loved the open space of the land. Our children wanted to spend all day swimming in the river that runs along the edge of the property. The property is also doggy friendly-which was very important to us. My favorite thing to do was sit on the deck with tea in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The beauty of the area is breathe taking. Of all the places we stayed, this was the one place no one wanted to leave. We will definitely return and recommend that everyone stay here. Thanks for having us Kevin!

  • Wonderful trip to the Umpqua Valley. House was beautifully decorated and the surroundings are breathtaking. We hosted a family dinner and everyone enjoyed the yard and a rousing game of ladder ball. Large open kitchen and dining room made it easy to make meals and for everyone to feel comfortable. Would recommend the house to anyone interested in visiting the area and looking for something unique and relaxing.

  • Beautiful area, and we all had a great time. Correspondence was very quick, and all questions were answered. Would love to stay again next year.

  • Very clean, lot's of room. First time I've used airbnb. I'm pretty sure it won't get any more impressive than Tony and Donna's home for the value. I've stayed in resort suits not even as nice for $500.00 plus a night. Above and beyond!

  • This is the favorite air bnb that we have stayed at. It is so beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We were so happy to stay here. We were well taken care of.

  • Thank you for a very nice comfy stay. Great amenities very thoughtful host.

  • These hosts are very special people. They have gone out of their way to make this place special and comfortable. This place is stocked with everything you might possibly need and more. It’s just like home. The beds are extremely comfortable and the place is clean. A great value! Thank you Donna & Tony!!! We will be back!!

  • Where do I even begin ! Wow where we ever shocked and very pleased with EVERYTHING. The amount of thought that was put in to what a traveler may need. (If they where to have forgotten ANYTHING) IE shampoo, conditioner, soap, razors, loofah sponge, toothpaste, toothbrush, and so much more toiletries. Any one with a sweet tooth had a few options of little candy snacks, and if a guest where planing on staying a few days and needed to wash clothes in the washer and dryer the laundry soap was always nice to have available. The big back privit yard with the grill, lawn furniture, table with umbrella and nice BIG pop up tent was amazing for hosting guest and keeping them in the shade. Lots and lots of time and heart is put into this very clean home. If ever a guest needed to just relax and take it easy this is the home away from home that they will be VERY pleased to have booked :) :) we deffentlly where!!!

  • Donna's place is an oasis of comfort and serenity. I was worried about the area, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our stay couldn't have been better. Donna and her husband were the perfect hosts, always available and helpful. We were close to restaurants and shopping was convenient. The backyard was an added benefit, where we enjoyed the comfortable patio furniture, shade, and barbeque.

  • Easy to find and very clean. Convenient and comfortable location.

  • This house had the winning touches that made us feel welcome! Very clean, comfortable beds, roomy, and our animals were welcome with clean beds, and dishes. Donna kept in touch with us when needed. There were extra surprises in almost every room. Very comfortable couches as well! I give this a five star hands down! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks Donna for making our stay so comfy! Sure hope all airbnb's are equivalent to this!

Relax in this super cozy and spacious tiny house on wheels. This cabin was hand built by your host Ryan. Located in a picturesque historic town on a small farm. Dedicated fenced in yard with a private garden and amazing views. Explore the wineries, Umpqua river activities, and historic Oakland! Glad to give tours on request here at Stagecoach Farm. This is an all organic permaculture farm with large gardens, orchards, Kune Kune pigs, and emu!
Come test out tiny house living on a farm in the heart of wine country. Relax in the privacy of a 3 acre farm. Located within walking distance of historic downtown Oakland Oregon. You will enjoy triple oaks winery, turkey hall music and food, Oakland tavern, yoga classes, museum, antique shopping, disc golf and sight seeing. Within minutes of many other wineries, fantastic light house bakery brunch, umpqua river swimming, hiking, hot springs. Easy access right off the I-5 corridor. Stagecoach farm is in the heart of the old town of Oakland and was the original Stage coach stop for Oakland in 1863. The pacific hotel and blacksmith shop was also located on the property. Come enjoy the tiny house and southern Oregon history.
In the heart of Oakland historic district. Oakland is a lovely little town with only historic homes and buildings. No fast food, no Walmart etc. Just a historic old town where you feel you stepped back in time. Everyone is very friendly and there are always things to do. Sutherlin and Roseburg are very close and have all the big stores. Oakland only has the basics and is very clean and cozy.
  • Ryan's home is a great little place away from the bustle of city life. We stayed the night on our way South and it was perfect for 2-3 people. Clean, cute, and they even gave us some farm fresh eggs! Such a nice touch!

  • Absolutely loved staying in the tiny house. Being 6'5" I had my reservations, but the tiny house was plenty large enough for me and was a beautiful setting to stay. We enjoyed watching the animals walk around. Ryan and his family were fantastic hosts. Recommend this location to anyone!!

  • If you're looking for a unique place to stay then this is the one! We loved watching the sunset while the ducks, chickens and emus wandered around. Ryan was a great host and we would definitely go back if we're in the area. Would 100% recommend.

  • Awesome place! Unique, with lots of character! Thoughtfully organized, with just enough space for everything you might need! Would definitely stay again’ Thank you!

  • The tiny house was a really unique place to stay. For 2 people it didn't feel that tiny. The little porch was a great place to have breakfast and watch the animals. We had a great night, hope to be back again!

  • This tiny home is even more beautiful in person. From the claw foot tub and the stain glass window in the bathroom, to the wood details on the walls, to the iron guard rail in the loft. It’s a work of art. Lots of things to see on the farm which is really fun for kids. In town you can find a yoga studio, a free museum, antic shops and beautiful architecture. Near Oakland is an amazing organic bakery that is worth the 10-15 minute scenic drive through woods and farm land. The host is super nice and knowledgeable about farming and tiny homes. I can’t say it enough it’s worth visiting. We will be going back for sure.

  • This place was an absolute find! We went there as a Mother's Day get away and could not have been happier. My boys and I love animals and couldn't get enough of all the friendly critters (especially the emu's and the neighborhood cat). It's a breathtaking area and Ryan the host was amazing! He even gave us a tour of the farm and let my boys feed the umu's and hogs. The space was really cool, and we had fun doing the tiny home experience. We will definitely be back!

  • A fun place to stay in a farm atmosphere
