A top-notch conversion of a small flint and brick cart shed alongside a beautifully restored 300-yearold oak barn. It feels private too, with its own little courtyard garden, colourful borders, terracotta pots, teak table and chairs – catch the morning rays with an al fresco breakfast. Inside all is fresh, bright, light and comfortable. Beautiful oak floors are toasty underfoot, there are chunky beams, thick fabrics, white sofas, French doors out the courtyard and heaps of books. The bedroom makes great use of the space with its fine painted bed, so settle down with best linen, feather and down duvets, views across the garden, and a fully-tiled walk-in shower that’s state of the art. A generous welcome basket includes a bottle of wine should you be staying the week, the flat-screen TV comes with oodles of DVDs, there’s a fully equipped kitchen in one corner and kind owners next door to provide continental breakfast or evening meals should you want them; lovers will take root. There’s walking through woods and paths for the more adventurous, and Canterbury Faversham and Whitstable are near. Nearby Ashford has high speed train link to london only 38 miutes away. Charming.
We are located in a listed "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" surrounded by fields and woods...mainly sweet Chestnut. There are plenty of good walks in the area including the famous "Pilgrims Way". Just wandering around the local country lanes with hedgerow wildlife, farms and country pubs is highly recommended. This is true "Darling Buds of May" country.

This newly renovated barn is nestled within the grounds of the listed Evegate Manor.
Situated in the heart of the Kentish countryside it offers easy access to London via Ashford international station, is just 10 mins drive from the Channel Tunnel and 25 mins from Dover. Canterbury is just 20 min away and offers a great nightlife with bars and restaurants. The barn has one double bedroom but also has a double bed settee within the living area. This would not be particularly comfortable for adults but would be fine for children or one adult. Guests have the opportunity to be completely independent within this property but are also welcome to come and be part of the family within the main house. There is a fully working modern kitchen within the barn with a convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a large American fridge freezer, breakfast is not provided. Unfortunately there is no washing machine or tumble dryer. Guests are welcome to use the main house for these facilities for a small additional cost. We are a very friendly and accommodating family and are happy to make our guests part of the family. Any help or advice whilst you are here is no problem to us. The area we live in is very rural but is still within easy reach of towns and city's. London is just 37 mins away if you chose to use he high speed rail like from Ashford.

The large kitchen is equipped with most of the implements you'll need for your stay, including an oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. The contents of the welcome hamper varies seasonally, but always includes fresh bread, butter, milk and lots of other delicious bits. The cupboards are stocked with cereals, tea, coffee, spreads and basic condiments. There's a big open plan dining and living space. With a super comfy sofa (please keep the dogs off though!), DVD player (with lots of things to watch) and free-sat TV (over 200 TV channels). There is a toddler high chair in the dining area but if you require one suitable for a younger child please ask and we will do our best to accommodate. There are two big kingsize double bedrooms, with an en-suite bathroom (WC, sink and shower) in both. The bigger bedroom also has a freestanding bath within the room for a luxurious soak. Towels, cosy robes and bubble bath provided. There's a lovely garden which you're welcome to enjoy during your stay (as is your dog), complete with a table and chairs to eat outside if the weather allows! Great Chart, Kent, Wielka Brytania

A unique & stunning country cottage steeped in history with links to the Plantagenet Kings of England! Our cottage is tucked away, surrounded by mature gardens that overlook the Eastwell Manor Country Estate. Plantagenet Cottage is newly refurbished, spacious, very private & relaxing with a certain English charm & character. The heated pool is great in Summer [closed in Winter] and the beautiful Kent countryside, numerous things to do nearby, or the cozy log fire makes this a perfect getaway.
**NEW - from April 2018 we are able to offer our guests use of the Champney's Spa facilities at Eastwell Manor - including Indoor & Outdoor Pools, 9 Hole Golf Course, Tennis Courts, Gym, Workout Classes etc. Please ask us about it if you're interested ** Bedroom 1 & 2 can be either 1 x SuperKing OR 2 x Singles [not both]. Bedroom 2 has a pull-out mattress to accommodate a 7th person on request [additional fee] Plantagenet Cottage dates back to the 16th Century and local legend says it was built by the 'illegitimate' son of King Richard the 3rd [the last Plantagenet King of England and the one they found under the car park in Leicester recently]. We call one of the bedrooms "Richard's Room" which has a double [Kingsize] bed in it. There are some books and an old transcript describing the History at the cottage. The tomb of the illegitimate heir Richard Plantagenet still lies in the ruins of nearby St Mary's church of Eastwell.
The cottage is tucked away in a very unique and secluded spot, so offers privacy but is still within easy reach of local amenities. It is nestled on the edge of a small village called Boughton Aluph which surrounds a central cricket green and traditional Kentish pub which are a short stroll away. Our property overlooks the picturesque sheep filled grounds of the Eastwell Manor Estate & Hotel which can be seen in the distance [which itself boasts fine dining, a spa, golf course, indoor pool and a huge lake]. Nearby is the practical thriving town of Ashford, and the wonderful historic city of Canterbury, the nature filled South Downs and many a traditional Kentish country pub and an abundance of cycling trails at nearby Kingswood and many stunning walks. The seaside towns of Whitstable, Rye, Herne Bay and the sandy beaches at Camber are all near enough for day trips, as is central London.

Reviews from guests who stayed here in Kennington
Paul was extremely friendly and made us feel most welcome upon arrival. The large open plan kitchen and living room is a lovely space and very relaxing to hang out in. The bedroom was clean and tidy albeit quite basic. Paul's place suited our needs perfectly for a quick overnight stay handy for St Pancras. Paul himself was a friendly and helpful host -- pointing us towards a number of good restaurants in the area nearby.

Our stay with Paul in London was great! He is friendly, approachable and made sure our visit was as smooth as possible. The apartment is very conveniently located at a 5-minute walk from King's Cross and St.Pancras station in a safe neighbourhood. Breakfast, internet and the amenities were all great!

This was my second stay at Hagen's apartment and again it was marvelous. Hagen is a superb, kind, respectful host and really make you feel at home. Hagen gave me several good tips for restaurants in the neighborhood. The apartment is very stylish, cosy, close to the underground and bus stops . I had a fantastic stay! Highly recommend. Thank you Hagen.
