  • Excellent first night in Scotland! Stunning setting. Memorable. Great kitchen too! And has a bathtub or separate shower to suit all.

  • Amazing and really stunning place to stay. The apartment was clean, quiet and its decoration and furnishing is perfectly aligned with the buildings history. It was a good fit for the five of us. Communicating with Arlene was perfect. It is a pity that we did not meet in person. Sadly we booked for one night only, though we would have loved to stay longer in this nice place. Highly recommended for visiting Glasgow!

  • Arlene is a committed host who provides a unique flat in a serene setting The principal rooms are spacious and bright and the flat borders on a lovely park area

  • We have a wonderful time in Arlene's apartment. It really was like a home from home beautiful and comfortable and so accessble to the city. It also had all the facilities you would want wifi and smart tv. I could not recommend it enough. Many thanks Arlene. Maria

  • Beautiful home -- very interesting ambiance. First time we've ever stayed in a church conversion. Arlene is a wonderful host, and Lomond is a great kid : ) Thanks so much for the awesome week!

  • What a great location and great host! The house was fantastic, Arlene made us feel really welcome and went out of her way to make sure the whole experience was as good as could be. The next time we are in Glasgow we will definitely stay longer!

  • Great communication from Arlene and efficient, friendly help from Martin. Big apartment with everything you need, including toiletries and kitchen supplies. Dedicated parking, good wifi, responsive heating system that kept us warm and cosy. Recommended.

  • Absolutely gorgeous house, easy to get in and collect keys perfect location for what we wanted

The apartment is set within an iconic landmark across the Glasgow skyline, Speirs Wharf represents a magnificent piece of industrial heritage. The apartment is 4 minutes by car into the main city square or you can take a ten minute walk to Sauchiehall street. In 1989 the development was converted from the warehouse building of Speirs Wharf, forming 150 loft-style residential apartments, a private leisure centre, and 19 commercial units. During the 19th Century, Speirs Wharf was at the hub of Glasgow's industrial revolution, with work commencing on the first phase of its development in 1811. The single building at the entrance to the development was built in 1812 as the offices for Forth & Clyde Navigation Co. In 1851, the City of Glasgow Grain Mills & Stores owned by John Currie & Co followed. Subsequent additions followed between 1869 and 1870. Originally the mills had 20 pairs of mill stones and a 100 horse power condensing engine. Glasgow remains the city of choice in Scotland, the city has a well deserved reputation and is regularly voted the UK shopping destination outside of London. All tastes are catered for, from the more exclusive boutiques of Princes Square and the Italian Centre, to the independent retailers and thrift stores of the West End, and not forgetting the Glasgow institution The Barras Market. For those with an interest in art, you will be glad to know that Glasgow is home to many galleries and museums, with wide and varied exhibitions, most of which are free to visit. Music fans will love the vibrant music scene in Glasgow. Live music is a regular feature in many pubs, and the city itself hosts some of the biggest names in the UK and international music scene. Annual festivals are held in the city, including the Jazz Festival and Celtic Connections. If sports and leisure is your thing, Glasgow is home to Scotland's two biggest football clubs. If you prefer to participate than to watch, there are a number of gyms, leisure clubs, and outdoor pursuits to keep you fit and help you to make new friends. Glasgow by Night Glasgow offers a vast selection of pubs and clubs throughout the city making it an extremely popular destination for it's nightlife. The diverse range of restaurants across Glasgow's sprawling metropolis has something to offer everyone - whether you're planning a group function for a special occasion or just a business lunch. Glasgow has food as unique and cultured as it's visitors. The West End of the city centre is filled with chic and sophisticated yet not pretentious pubs and cocktail bars, Ashton lane, a cobble stone alley is a popular haunt for tourists and locals and features a number or stylish bars such as Brel and Vodka Wokda. The adjoining Byres Road, a lengthy main road, offers similar styled bars albeit more due to its much larger size. Sauchiehall Street is amongst the most popular nightlife hot spots in the city, the long road is crammed with pubs, clubs and restaurants. It features a wide range of fashionable bars, notable favourites include Bar Buddha, Campus (also a club), Driftwood, Firewater and many others. However areas such as Bath Street and others situated nearby also feature a wonderful selection of bars and although Sauchiehall Street is amongst the most popular, almost every street in the city centre is crammed with bars. The Club scene in Glasgow is fantastic, with new clubs consistently being added to the already large number throughout the city. Sauchiehall Street boasts such favourites as Campus, Blanket, Destiny and the extremely popular Garage. Royal Exchange Square and nearby streets feature popular venues such as Mas, The Social, One up, Cathouse and The Tunnel. Many more are spread across the city centre. With a large and vibrant gay community, the city centre features a number of gay bar and nightclubs as well as many clubs featuring their own gay night once a week. Popular venues include The Polo Lounge, AXM, Katies Bar, Moda, Delmonicas and the Revolver Bar, most of which are situated within the Merchant City Area. There is something for everyone in Glasgow.

  • The place is absolutely wonderful, cosy, warm, you absolutely feel either like home or like in a 5* hotel. the location is perfect if you have a car for parking but as well close enough of the center by foot. in addition the pool and saune were a great plus after a long day of walk. Absolutely recommended, no doubt we will come again

  • I could not recommend this apartment more. I took my boyfriend for his birthday and it was the best trip we've ever had, owing largely to Snuggle. The apartment is amazing there isn't one fault I could think of. The personal touches Derek made such as a birthday card and bottle or champagne made the visit even more special. We walked to town everyday which took only 15 mins or a cab was a fiver at night so perfect! I think for us the pool facilities were what made it and for anyone looking for somewhere to relax, explore and live in luxury this is the place to go. We will be back, there's no doubt about it.

  • When I arrived at the apartment I was greeted with a warm welcome from Derek and his mum. The apartment was beautifully presented with towels and toiletries, fluffy cushions and the most luxurious carpet I've ever seen! I found the bed extremely comfortable and sheets were silky soft. The heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi were icing on the cake! Overall, I couldn't have asked for better on my first trip to Glasgow, I will definitely be calling back again in the future and would highly recommend a stay.

  • We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival with all the facilities being shown to us and their operation explained. It's a very clean, well equipped flat in an interesting former wharf building with splendid views over the canal and West Glasgow beyond although the sound from the nearby motorway is always there. It's a 15 minute walk to Sauchihall Street with its shops etc and 10 minutes from the nearest subway station, so very well located. With taxis available 5 minutes after a phone call it proved to be a great base for exploring the city

  • My girlfriend and I stayed at Speirs Wharf for a long weekend. We were greeted by Irene who kindly let us 'check in' earlier than we should have which was a great help! We were staying in Glasgow for an event at the Hydro. We used Network Private Hire taxis for our trip from the airport to the apartment (£15.50) and to the Hydro (£5.30) (40 minute walk or a 10 min taxi ride). This company is very reliable and is much cheaper than when you get a taxi from the roadside. The apartment was very clean and we would highly recommend it to our friends and family if they were visiting Glasgow. The kitchen was well equipped to enable us to be self-catering all weekend. The leisure centre just down from the apartment block was lovely with a pool, jacuzzi and gym that we were free to use. A great weekend made extra special by staying with Snuggle Lets!!

  • This is great place to enjoy what Glasgow has to offer - very clean and cosy, conveniently located: close to downtown yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with all the amenities you could possibly need during your stay. I would book it again with my eyes closed. Extra points for the pool/leisure center and little balcony. I had a fantastic stay there and will definitely come back.

  • Had an excellent stay. Facilities as described were spot on. Loved every minute of it. Great location too. Would definitely recommend and would come back again

A large double room in our beautiful old (1824) townhouse, in the centre of historic Stirling. Stirling Castle is 10 minutes walk away; the rail & bus stations are 5 minutes. A help-yourself breakfast is provided in the room. On-street car parking.
The room is spacious and well-equipped, with a double bed, sofa, coffee table, books, board games and dvds (and a dvd player). There is wireless internet. Bread, fruit, cereal, porridge, yoghurt, tea and coffee are provided so you can help yourself to breakfast. There's a fridge, toaster, and kettle in the room.
Stirling is a great place to stay, and our house is right in the heart of it. You can visit Stirling Castle (recently voted best visitor attraction in Scotland!) and wander round the fascinating old town, with many buildings dating back to the 1500s. The Wallace Monument is just across the valley - in fact you can see it from the kitchen window! The best TripAdvisor restaurant in Stirling (Green Gates Indian) is 20 seconds away, with other pubs and restaurants nearby. Stirling is great for shopping, with lots of independent shops and all the big high street names. The beautiful Loch Lomond & Trossachs national park is a 30 minute drive away.
  • Rosa and Greg are lovely and have a really nice and weel located house. The room is really big and cosy.

  • We have stayed with Rose and Greg the last night of our trip to Scotland lasted 15 days, I would say that we could not finish better than our trip. Their house is really cozy and furnished with taste, then check out the other places than it is at 11 am not at 10 am so we could rest a bit 'more. Rose was very nice with us, helped us to check in online for the plane using her PC. The house is located in the city center, very clean and big and the photos reflect reality. Nice idea of breakfast do by yourself!. .. and what about Rose and Greg are two nice people and I highly recommend them available. thanks

  • Genial

  • We were welcomed warmly and the big room was beautiful and perfect for our short visit. Rosa and Greg provided us with great breakfast and snacks! They had thought of everything. Our stay was perfect. We also loved the location and great restaurants. We would highly recommend this place.

  • Greg and Rosa are very nice, helpful and interesting people - we definitively had liked to stay longer in there charming house. We hope to get back there one day - it would be like staying with friends.

  • Greg and Rosa gave us a very warm welcome, which was quite the opposite of the not so warm weather! Greg gave us a map and introduced us to the various eateries, amenities and places of interest around the area. That was very helpful, and he made us feel right at home. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and so was the bathroom. Thanks for having us!

  • Everything was fantastic! Greg was incredibly helpful and gave us plenty of ideas of things to do in the city as well as some wonderful places to eat. The room was beautiful and there was plenty of space to relax and get some work done at the same time. Will definitely keep in mind for our next trip to Stirling!

  • I would definitely recommend this place. Ken and Margaret are lovely hosts. They made us feel welcome right from the beginning and explained clearly about the house and local amenities. The welcome pack is very well made. The house is very well equipped with fantastic amenities and is furnished to a very high standard. I was surprised to see how large the house was. Our party of 12 including 4 kids stayed comfortably in the house. The area is quiet and is very close to Glasgow and to the local train station. The kids loved the board games and the garden. The hosts responded to queries very quickly. We were very satisfied with the stay and would recommend it to everyone. The only disadvantage is that the private road at the end is bumpy with lots of pot holes, however that wouldn’t deter us from going back.

  • It was a beautifull house, it has a privileged location due to it's closeness to edimburg and Glasgow. The rooms are modern and very confortable. The hosts are amazing, very nice people.

  • Had an absolutely amazing night! Such a beautiful home and we were certainly spoilt with breakfast packs with so much choice left for the morning a full fridge and chocolates! The hosts Ken and Margaret couldn't of been nicer and it was nice to know they were just a text away if there were any problems ( not that there was) and even on the lead up to us coming they made everything clear - gave great directions for getting getting there and what to expect, what food places were near etc. All the guests had a great time and we all felt right at home even though it was only for one night! Couldn't recommended it more for a night to get a group of friends and family together and just have a really amazing time! Thanks so much! Would go back in a heart beat!

  • This is a comfortable, suburban home within park-n-train to nearby Glasgow or Edinburgh. Bedrooms were large with modern bathrooms and beige-carpets throughout. Plenty of room in the kitchen for sit-down meals, and well appointed.

  • Thanks again for our stay in your stunning home, Ken and Margaret. All 12 of us thoroughly enjoyed all the fantastic amenities. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the house rules were very clear and easy to follow. The house is very well equipped with ensuites to most bedrooms and an amazing, well stocked kitchen. Will definitely stay again if the opportunity to presents itself! Outstanding!

  • We enjoyed our stay in this nice house. Well stocked kitchen and lovely welcome pack; friendly hosts who stayed in the summer house in the garden so that they could help if we needed anything. Kids loved the wee play park at the end of the road.

  • Nice

  • The house is amazing and exactly as described. We had an amazing weekend and would definately book again

We enjoyed our stay in Renaissance Period Building in Glasgow. Jenn was a fantastic host and made us feel welcomed in the apartment. The apartment space is as accurate as in the pictures. The big lunge was best for me to relax and spend quality family time with my family when ever we were in the apartment. It was peaceful, quite with a good view from the langue windows. Jenn was always available on phone for any questions and any suggestions to go to the places around in the area. The location was perfect of us as there was a Tesco express just 2 mins walk away for any things required and the central station was just 5 mins away which made it easy to travel to Edinburgh to visit the fringe via train. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and I would recommend to stay here if you are exploring places to stay in Glasgow.

Couldn't have asked for a better place to explore Glasgow from. Lovely company and the best Scottish breakfast! Would absolutely return for another visit.
Ross was a very good host, he showed us around the flat and communication was excellent. The flat is a very cozy, beautifully decorated and very clean. The kitchen had a dining area and was very well equipped. We would definitely be using it again. We had a very comfortable nights sleep. Thank you so much a lovely stay in Glasgow.
