Includes 120-acres of Alaskan wilderness with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room, sleeps 6. The accommodations include a walk out, wrap-around balcony. The 1250 sqft suite is the entire 2nd floor of my home. It is accessed by its own staircase and balcony. A 3-mile hiking trail takes you to 5500 ft. The home is crafted to provide you with over 420 Sq Feet of carefully planned space offering a fully functional kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and a custom tiled shower. It is truly magical to soak outdoors under the night sky in the privacy of your own hot tub.

Beautiful Lakefront Chalet - WOW

This Beautiful Chalet on Wolverine Lake is located just 59 miles north of Anchorage International Airport on a beautiful lake with no public access. It is surrounded by the Chugach mountain range. Directly in front of the Chalet is a spectacular view of Matanuska Peak, it is 6,155ft tall. It is a rare occasion to see anyone on the lake. With over 3 miles of shoreline there is plenty of area to fish and view wildlife. Fast wi-fi and parking for 2 vehicles per rental is available.

"Into The Wild" Magic Bus

The Magic Bus is inspired by the bus from the "Into The Wild" movie. Located in the woods with comfortable beds, linen and electricity, but only 200 feet from a full bathroom and other facilities. You can watch wildlife straight from the windows! Come stay in our multicultural and multi-language glamping site by the beautiful Knik river, close to all the great attractions of the area. We believe that traveling to Alaska should be not only comfortable but also memorable!

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Rustic Lakefront log cabin with a private outdoor steam room (*) on a quiet, non-motorized lake near the Big Lake recreation area and on the way to Denali. Warm up in the steam room after a day of exploring. Kayak and paddle boat right from the dock (June–September), firepit, and watch for moose, cranes, and swans passing through the yard. Kitchen with bar seating, private lake access, and peaceful nature all around. Sleeps 5 comfortably, up to 7.

Come inside and warm up by the wood stove. There is plenty to do for everyone or do nothing at all and relax and enjoy all things Big Beaver Lake!!
