Hurdal skianlegg ligger en kort kjøretur unna og området byr på fantastisk natur, turstier og badeplasser ved vakre Hurdalsjøen. Hytta ligger også nære flyplassen, og passer like godt for feriering som til forretningsreise. Spar Hurdal (matbutikk/supermarked) 6km mot Hurdal. Sengetøy og håndklær er inkludert.

There is a row-boat by the private pier, and fishinggear in the annex by the water. Ski in, ski out! You can ski, walk or bicycle all the way througt the forest to Kikut/Oslo if you like! Sommerfjøset på Hovelsrud, Helgøya

Det gamle sommerfjøset til Hovelsrud Gård ligger idyllisk til mellom Mjøsa og en bølgende kornåker – et enkelt og unikt sted for den som vil komme tett på naturen og nyte roen på Helgøya. Huset passer best for et par eller en liten familie med inntil to barn. Inne er det et soverom og en åpen stue. Ute er det en kjøkkenbenk, med et gassbluss og grill, en liten strand med bademulighet og utedo. Det er ikke strøm.
