Charming Coastal Cottage in Ballymacoda

Urban Tranquilatree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

The Swallow's Nest

Please don't come here - If you're looking for big city lights, mod cons & public transport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

The cottage is a two-minute walk to the Mall beach and is a scenic 15 minute walk to the three blue flag beaches . It is also a short walk to historical landmarks such as the Clockgate Tower, the Old Town walls ,Restaurants , cafes, bars and the cinema .

The Yard is a lovingly restored outbuilding, extended with the addition of a fabricated shipping container. It offers a comfortable and private haven with double bedroom , spacious shower room, and fully equipped kitchen/dining space. We are ideally located to enjoy fabulous views and picturesque walks.
