Sit by the crackling open fire in the covered boma and admire the sparkling night sky. *An extra chalet with 4beds, en-suite & kitchenette can be booked on request for an additional R550 per night. Eden Rain

The house is centrally located and is within easy walking distance to the main attractions. It has its own fenced off garden and is situated in a small estate with 3 other houses. There's a solar system which keeps lights, wifi and the fridge on during loadshedding! The main living area is spacious and has a beautiful sunroom for lounging around. Each bedroom can be arranged into either double or single beds which is ideal for any group booking and there is a pizza oven available as well.

Holingsberg River Fly Fishing and Horse trails

Holingsberg River Cottage is an exclusive Self Catering River Fly Fishing and Horse Trail destination for the serious Fly Fisher and Trail rider. The chalet is upmarket and private, and situated on a working farm yard. The kids are welcome to interact and learn about the farm animals. The fly fisher has 1.5km of river front. Enjoy the splendid view from the patio while preparing dinner, relaxing around a fire, and discuss the catch or trail ride of the day. The cottage has solar back-up.

Self-Catering/Pet Friendly

This old favorite, offers panoramic views, tranquility, and privacy. It boasts a fenced garden and spacious stoep for braais and sundowners. Adventure seekers can hike the mountain for a breathtaking vista. IMPORTANT: Regrettably, the Stone Cottage lacks electricity due to transformer damage from a recent storm. The repair timeframe is unknown, but we have a generator on hand for your convenience. We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we're pursuing alternatives.

Highland Peace Haven is a spacious 3-bedroom retreat designed for comfort and relaxation. Unwind in extra king-size beds with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen and electric blankets for cosy nights. The open-plan living area flows onto a covered patio with a built-in braai and pizza oven, plus a full-size pool table with a table-tennis top—perfect for family fun and relaxed evenings.

Climb – Hike – Bike – Fish – Relax...Tegwaan is the perfect place to stay if you want access to a lot of fun outdoor activities while staying in a comfortable place! Immersed in nature, Tegwaan is a little ecosystem of its own: with fresh water springs, several fish ponds and a creek, the grass is always green, the trees are tall and the birds are happy! :-). The Studio is a big open plan room, ideal for couples or families who want a bit more space than a tiny house.

Luxurious lodge in a private valley - Forest Lodge

Bakoni Forest Lodge is set amongst several of Heybrook’s numerous circular ruins . The lodge nestles on the banks of the Paschner stream, itself enveloped in indigenous riverine forest. The open plan lodge opens out entirely to the expansive outdoor areas & occupies some 270 m². Close by, but importantly separated, deep under the forest canopy, is a well-equipped boma area. The well-appointed bedrooms are strategically scattered a short distance from the lodge.

Royal Wulff Cottage at Woolly Bugger Farm

Royal Wulff is a cosy two-sleeper cottage, identical to our Marabou cottage, perfect for a fisherman’s adventure or a romantic getaway in the bush. Located near the two tranquil dams, the cottage boasts a studio layout that ensures intimacy and comfort. Royal Wulff’s king bed and tidy sitting area are warmed each evening by an indoor fireplace, while the patio opens right onto the African bush and the dam’s distinct ecosystem. This cottage is pet friendly.

The 'Ultimate Escape' - Silo Lodge

African Leaves Trout Lodge is regarded as an excellent fly-fishing location, is a part of the ‘Zuikerboschhoek Bewarea’ and is home to wildlife that frequents the mountain range. There is a natural waterfall and 2 km’s of natural river running through the forest on the property. There are two houses situated on the property - Oak House and Silo Lodge. We are pet friendly for up to 4 small to medium sized breed dogs, which must be well trained.
