Sit by the crackling open fire in the covered boma and admire the sparkling night sky. *An extra chalet with 4beds, en-suite & kitchenette can be booked on request for an additional R550 per night. The Homestead, Walkersons Estate

Welcome to The Homestead@Walkersons The house has an open plan dining area, living area with a fireplace & kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining & family gatherings. The estate (at over 7km2) has mountain springs, forests & waterfalls. There are fantastic walking, cycling & running paths including trail paths on the Wildlife Reserve. The Estate has a runway & Helipad that can be used if arranged. The house is cleaned on Tuesday & Thursdays, other days can be arranged at additional cost.

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.

Farm cottage (En-route to Moz & Kruger)

This spacious cottage is set on a working farm just outside of Waterval Boven, offering a serene and peaceful retreat for fishing enthusiasts, nature lovers and those who seek relaxation. It boasts a private trout dam and river with stunning views over the mountains. Ideal for bird watchers and star gazers. Featuring a cozy open plan lounge with fireplace that adds coziness during colder days. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Galil Farm, guests can explore the ancient stone circles.

Oak View House

Oak View House is a Self-Catering Home within Walkersons Private Estate, just outside of Dullstroom. It is the best place to relax, recharge and enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. Perfect for a family getaway or a weekend away with some friends. Take in the spectacular elevated view of the surroundings of the estate and the stylish interior the house has to offer. Oak View is equipped with Solar Panels so that you can still enjoy the house to its fullest during Loadshedding.

Base rate for 1 person per night (PPN), thereafter R400 PPN night. Beautiful place to re-connect with nature, open spaces & big skies. Trout dams on property, space for long walks, hikes & mountain biking. 8km on a dirt road from Machadodorp, 30km to Dullstroom.

Nestled within Critchley Hackle Lodge in Dullstroom, Lakeside 12 offers a retreat for two guests. Marabou’s king bed and tidy sitting area are warmed each evening by an indoor fireplace, while the patio opens right onto the African bush and the dam’s distinct ecosystem. This cottage is pet friendly.
