Cyclists can also challenge themselves on the many hills around the area, including the infamous Stwlan Dam climb. Local attractions such as Zip World, Antur Stiniog and Llechwedd Slate Caverns are a few minutes away. The cottage is also ideally located for visiting nearby Porthmadog and Betws y Coed.

Tucked away in the traditional Welsh village of Penmachno, surrounded by hills and forests, it's one of the hidden gems of Snowdonia National Park. Centrally located, it is a terrific location from which to explore.

It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track.
