Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this newly built wooden pod provides a comfortable, warm and cosy stay for people looking for a countryside retreat to relax and unwind in. Situated on Castletown Estate you can walk out of the garden gate and straight onto the river side with access to walks not publicly available.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The perfect base for walking or biking the area or visiting the local towns and amazing sights or to just stop and relax and refresh. This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.

Clough Head pod is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful picturess mountains right outside your door! This takes glamping to a new level. Head outside to it’s own private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or take a soak in the hot tub and read a good book!

The property is located a short 10min walk from the city centre and also close by to train and bus routes. Free street parking outside the property.
