Restored 2 storey grain barn, with all the original beams and stonework. 10 minutes from Callan. Kilkenny city is 25 minutes away and Cashel is 35 minutes. Clonmel 25 minutes. Down a short laneway. Lots of trees and pleasant countryside. We have cows and sheep here. Complimentary free range eggs and fresh spring water from our well. Friendly dogs, who love people! The bedroom area upstairs is divided into two bedrooms. You will be assured of a friendly warm welcome. Plenty of birdsong!

The cabin has double glazed windows with central heating, patio doors opening to south facing veranda with patio furniture and private car park. Quiet surrondings with views of the mountains. Tipperary and the trail is approximately 43 kilometres long. We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. Tea/Coffee and welcome breakfast pack provided on arrival.

If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle
