This adobe casita is a special place – washed in sunlight, quiet and tucked into a half acre with grass, trees, flowers, rabbits and birds. Located right behind the Balloon Fiesta grounds and is just a few minutes drive, it is only 15-20 minutes from downtown Albuquerque and about 50 minutes from Santa Fe. Plenty of outdoor space in which to relax and soak up the sun. And great Wifi for remote work. The casita sits on the same lot as a larger house that is occupied by a long-term tenant.

Adjoined to our larger adobe main house, this charming little home boasts viga ceilings, a beautiful sunroof, brick floors, classic Spanish tilework, wood burning fireplace, and a stunning loft where the sunrise over the Sandia Mountains can wake you each morning. Off the beaten path and surrounded by rural land, horses, and blooming cottonwoods, our casita is an ideal place to unwind and recharge.

Walking distance from galleries, restaurants, wineries/breweries and located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, Corrales' pastoral charm provides the perfect getaway from the day's activities. Over 1600 sq ft with private enclosed yard, the historic Bridge House has a New Mexican appeal all its own with adobe walls, beamed ceilings and modern updates to provide the best of both worlds.

This Corrales casita is minutes to town but set back in the quiet, small farm community of Corrales. We are located on the popular corrales acequia (waterway) which you can walk/bike to the farmers market, bistros, wineries, breweries, shops and the Rio Grande Bosque and river. Our 500 sqft casita has all the amenities you need with the coziness of your own modern farmhouse. We live in the home next door and are happy to help with anything you need. No Oven/Stove due to Corrales Rules.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our 500 sq. ft. casita. The space is only accessible by a secure walkway connected to the main house. We will welcome you and hand you the keys to both your casita and the main house. You will have complete privacy surrounded by nature and the Corrales Bosque. The Bosque Trail runs directly behind your casita. You can walk, bike, or jog along the acequia (waterway) or wander along the Rio Grande River and gaze at the majestic Sandia Mountain across the water.

La Casita is a cozy, private studio space with a queen bed and a separate bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped for simple meals. There is a loveseat, dining table with two chairs, desk, hangers and a dresser. The front porch has seating and the private back patio has a lighted pergola, dining furniture, & Sandia mountain views. Balloon Fiesta Park is nearby & balloons fly nearby year-round. The Blue Door Suite in Albuquerque’s far north valley sits separately inside a one hundred year old adobe home. Guests have a private entrance into a cozy yard with large shade trees, an herb garden and seating for dining, morning coffee, or just relaxing.
