If you are animal lovers, come and have cuddles with all our free-range pets. We have super friendly sheep, pygmy goats, cats, dogs, chickens & ducks that will come and say hi during your stay. We are only 2 miles off the A30 so easy to reach all those hidden gems & St Ives is only 30 mins away! If you prefer public transport, we have a bus stop near so you can enjoy taking in the Cornish scenery. The local village of St Day is only a 10 minute walk away and includes 2 general stores & 2 pubs.

Noah’s Ark is our Shepherd’s Hut situated in a rural conservation area just inside Cornwall and nestles between our goat’s & ponies’ paddock and overlooks our bordering river. The surrounding area is perfect for cycling & walks on Bodmin & Dartmoor & equidistant from the north & south coasts. We are lucky to have achieved our dream of living in Cornwall with our animals and want to share the experience with others who would love to escape to this life. Well behaved dogs are very welcome

Our beautiful bespoke shepherd's hut, The Idle Hour, enjoys a stunning location overlooking the North Cornish coast with panoramic sea views from Trebarwith to Tintagel church. Close to beautiful beaches, the SW Coast Path and only a few minutes drive from Tintagel Village. Get away from it all, going back to basics but with a few luxuries such as an ensuite bathroom (shower), 100% cotton bedding and kitchenette. You will have your own private garden area with fire pit and campfire BBQ.

Our idyllic shepherd’s hut is perfect for a quiet holiday. We’re off the beaten track, in a small hamlet, with nearby large farm shop/restaurant. We're just a ten minute drive to the long, sandy beach at Gwithian in St Ives bay. The hut is at the end of our big garden, overlooking fields and has its own outside eating area and fire pit/bbq. There’s a wood stove inside for cosy evenings. This is also a good place to work - quiet and with a table by the window, with views across fields.

Perfect for those who enjoy walking and the outdoors. A place to stay in Cornwall away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to make the most of the famous coastline and surfing beaches nearby. The hut comes with a 2 person wood fired hot tub. I spent 19 months in a shed making this from scratch, and it has my heart. It's designed to meld the security of home with the whims of the wild. There's a bus windscreen above the bed for star/cloud gazing, your own private woodland clearing, a woodburner, and all you need for good dining. It's totally secluded, you won't see anyone or visa versa. Now featuring a hot outdoor shower among the trees, running hot water inside, and Wi-Fi for the WFH crew.

Named after the Buzzards that soar above, the Buzzards hut is a peaceful retreat with views over the open countryside. Both coasts are a short drive away, the parish of Wendron where Porkellis is situated is steeped in a rich mining heritage and there is a 7 mile circular walk on our doorstep. Dogs allowed, fully fenced.
