In May 2020, the Edenville dam on Wixom lake failed, draining the lake and turning it back into the river it was 95 years ago. Our cozy cottage now sits on hundreds of acres of ancient trees and emerging forest on a dry lake bottom with a picturesque river running through it. You & your family/friends will love your stay in this cozy upgraded cottage with an enormous deck & sunset views like no other.

Within a 45 minute drive you have Houghton Lake, smaller lakes, splash pads and casinos, something for the whole family.

Outdoor amenities to utilize including outdoor seating, grassy yard for any outdoor activities, a fire pit, a large sandbox, swimming of course, cemented basketball area with a hoop and basketballs, a dock for fishing or if you chose to bring up your own watercraft you can anchor it on the dock. The yard is shared with another rental cottage on the property.

Relax on the wrap-around deck or the waterfront swing and enjoy the view of the river in all seasons. Croton provides great fishing all year round with lots of great snowmobile trails in the area. The cottage is fully furnished with wood floors, laundry room, well-appointed kitchen, and deck furniture/umbrella. Added bonus! 5 kayaks and 5 bikes are also available!
