100 year old home. Very peaceful in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to food and coffee. The house is very bright with hardwood floors. The home has a washer and dryer in the basement. We will consider dogs on a case by case basis. (Please see Other details to note). The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals (no spices). WE DO NOT ALLOW LOCAL RESIDENCE AS THIS IS NOT TO BE USED FOR PARTIES OR ANY TYPE OF EVENTS OR LOCAL DAY USEAGE. THE HOME HAS OUTDOOR SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS.

Mother Earth 'Turquoise' Hogan (#2)

You will love our place for its prime location in MonumentValley, 10 minutes from the park. You will be hosted by a local native family eager to share the Navajo culture and highlights of things to see n do. Our hogan has an electric power outlet for lighting, charging devices, or to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea. Wifi is available, but not guaranteed therefore not charged. We serve a small, free continental breakfast. Dinner is available upon request, please add to comments when reserving.

Located 67 miles northeast of Winslow, AZ, this property is close to Walpi, the Hopi Health Care Center, Keams Canyon, Hopi Cultural Center, and Second Mesa. More locations include Kykotsmovi, the Hopi Tribal headquarters, Hopi Jr/Sr high school, and Hotevilla. Some other points of interest for a day trip are Antelope Canyon, Canyon de Chelly, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Flagstaff, Snow Bowl, Lake Powell, Monument Valley, Petrified Forest, and Meteor Crater.

Please remember we are sharing our homesite- with our Campers. Each campsite has a open grill/ campfire pit, picnic table, well served shadow for our reserve campers. Well enough clean space, wooden fence for safety/ privacy during night time star gazing and daytime relaxation to enjoy beauty of huge surrounding Monuments. Remember our outdoor shower is closed for the Winter only: November, December, January and February.

The cabin is one of five nearly identical cabins at Z-Lazy-B guest ranch. It's usually a quiet retreat, but during hunting season the other cabins fill up. PLEASE NOTE: THE ALTITUDE IS NEARLY 8,000 FT. SOME GUESTS COMING FROM LOWER ALTITUDES (Near Sea Level) MIGHT EXPERIENCE ALTITUDE SICKNESS.
