Reached by a private road and bridge. Sat on Dutton Locks next to the spectacular Dutton Viaduct, Dutton Horse Bridge and Dutton Sluices, all feats of 19th Century engineering. This romantic tree cabin is located on the edge of a tranquil woodland at the bottom of a beautiful privately owned 5 acre garden, overlooking a hypnotic river waterfall. This majestic retreat is where you can unwind, relax and recharge, with full access to the BBQ area and on site sauna. If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Charming Canalside Cottage

Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

The Cottage, part of Grade Riverside 2 farm

At the end of a lane next to the River Dee, this is the last dwelling in Wales! You have access to our fields, croquet lawn, extensive gardens and river fishing (salmon &coarse). At the top of the lane is the village with three restaurants and two take-aways & shops. Walk over the medieval bridge to England & there are two amazing gastro pubs, the Hare and the Raven & the new Little farmhouse cafe. The cottage is a 18th and 19th century add on to the main 1650 Grade 2 listed farmhouse

The Fal Narrowboat at Oakwood Marina

Our narrowboat Fal is moored at Oakwood Marina on the Trent & Mersey Canal near the village of Davenham. A very friendly community which has an on site shop and tea room which opens Thursday to Monday. Within easy reach of M6 motorway.
