Casa Castello - Lakefront Apartment

Recently renovated apartment in the historic center of Cannobio, situated along the lake-front of Lago Maggiore, just a few meters from the water. The apartment is distributed over three levels, and includes two independent bedrooms (one with a balcony of its own), two baths, dining room with kitchen and fireplace, and a double-height living room with rustic beams, an elegant corner fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the lake. The apartment is fully furnished, with usual kitchen accessories, dish-washer, clothes-washer, vacuum cleaner, and TV with DVD/CD player. Upon request, sheets and towels may be furnished for a modest charge. Within meters begins a choice between numerous restaurants, trattorie, wine bars, and ice-cream shops. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk, and a large street market every Sunday morning. Also within five minutes walk is the Embarcadero, where it is possible to take boat excursions to a variety of tourist attractions on Lago Maggiore, both in Italy and Switzerland. Cannobio’s nearby Lido offers sunbathing and swimming, with possibilities of various aquatic sports including courses for wind surf and sailing. Adjacent to the Lido are other non-aquatic sports opportunities such as tennis, volleyball, and rental of bicycles or scooters. 200 meters from the apartment begins the bicycle trail that follows the course of the river Canobino, up the valley to the Orrido di Sant’Anna. The mountains in the Cannobina Valley offer various possibilities for excursions, with a network of well-marked trails connecting rustic stone villages along the valley, and reaching Switzerland on the north and the Parco Nazionale della Valgrande on the south, which is a wilderness area with characteristic plants, animals, and historic memories. The apartment will provide basic information on Cannobio, the Canobina Valley, and its network of trails.

Reihenhaus mit sehr grosszügigem Raumangebot auf 3 Etagen, ideal für Familien und grosse Gruppen. Insgesamt sind 15 Schlafplätze vorhanden, aufgeteilt auf 1 Doppelbett, 13 kombinierbare Einzelbetten, sowie 3 Badezimmer, die je nach Gruppengrösse freigegeben werden. Föhn, Waschmaschine & Trockner, sowie Stauraum für das Gepäck sind so oder so immer mit dabei. Zum Haus gehören 2 Parkplätze direkt neben dem grossen Garten. Die Nähe zu Deutschland, wie zum Bodensee/Rhein, runden den Aufenthalt ab.

Welcome to our home on a stream in Turbenthal. The house was built in 2017 and is very modern. There is a communal playground and children are very welcome. There are three free parking spots. The house overlooks a beautiful stream and there are beautiful walks, hikes and cycling straight from the house. Migros and Coop supermarkets are walking distance. The house is under 5 mins walk from the train station, Zurich is 47 mins by train and Winterthur 25 mins away. Trains are every 30 mins.

Im Aussenbereich gibt es im Erd- und Obergeschoss einen Balkon mit wundervollem Blick auf den Lago Maggiore, sowie mehrere Sitzbereiche und Terrassen zum Entspannen. Die Mitbenutzung eines Pools (mit den weiteren 8 Häusern (meist Ostern - Okt), wie ein Stellplatz stehen zur Verfügung.
