Charming Garden Apartment

Welcome. My place is a quiet and secluded retreat, an easy ten minute drive from the centre of the city. Situated in a tree filled suburb at the beginning of the magnificent Otago Peninsula area. The annex is private from the main part of the house with its own entrance and suits one or two people. The garden is a work in progress, depending on the season, with a sheltered, sunny courtyard for your use. There is a small outlook over the harbour water, giving you a glimpse of the city and hills.

This place is brand new (completed July 2017) and recently listed Category 1 heritage building (nationally important) right in Dunedin's warehouse precinct. It is only a short walk to the Octagon. They are warm, well insulated and have everything you need for both a short or longer stay. The kitchen has an ash wood bench, induction hob and a pyrolytic oven. The decor is all natural with woolen carpets, duvet, quality cotton sheets and pillows. Also within the apartment is a small laundry.

Sunny Roslyn hideaway

Renovated, sunny space, with its own access. Easy 5 minute walk to Roslyn village, to enjoy a coffee /lunch. Stretch your legs for a downhill 20 min walk to town. You have the convenience of being 8 minutes from anywhere in Dunedin by car. Car parking available. Gorgeous views. Keen outdoor hosts that will point you in the direction of a fun day out. Note this is our family home with young kids, noise levels may reflect this. Dunedin is a hilly city, there are 3 steps to access the room

Private Retreat in North Dunedin

Nestled against remnant native bush, this location is nevertheless an easy 15 minute walk from the university and central Dunedin. 20 minutes to the Forsyth Barr Stadium. Plenty of free on-street parking and the bus route passes the front door. This area is well serviced by food outlets and there is a nearby supermarket and laundromat. You will have your own private entry and can keep to yourself or feel free to pick the brains of your host, Chris. Photography is a favourite topic!

The Princes Apartment

We renovated a 158-year-old historic building in downtown Dunedin and turned it into a European-style apartment. The location is ideal for exploring the city: one block to the Octagon, the beating heart of Dunedin, the apartment is perched above a working ceramic studio and is handily placed between the Dowling Street galleries and Moray Place. Cafés, restaurants, and charming bars abound. Complimentary one-hour introduction to wheel-thrown ceramics is offered to interested guests.

Photographers love getting the perfect sunset shot; and it is a great location to access the Otago Peninsula. Newly built lovely quiet and warm with spectacular views of the harbour & city from beautiful Vauxhall Bay. Queen bed and separate room for your luggage. Basic breakfast supplies Parking for 2 cars under the house. Must walk up 22 steps from your car to the front door. No infants, babies, toddlers or children and only TWO guests to stay please.

This studio room features a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom with under-floor heating, and a kitchen (please see house rules for restrictions) along with a high standard of comfort provided by double-glazed windows and doors, full insulation and a heatpump to keep you comfortable during the colder part of the year. There is an adjacent studio very similar in set-up with a queen and a single bed. Off-street car parking is available right outside the space.

Tūī retreat - a nature lover’s paradise!

If you love being surrounded by nature but also desire proximity to town, this is the place for you! The tui retreat is a quiet and serene space surrounded by native bush and bird life. You’ll stay in the sleepout, which is a brand new, fully insulated, space which is fully detached from the main house. It has a queen bed (linen and electric blanket provided), it’s own private bathroom, mini fridge, table and chairs, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Lux Studio In Manor Place Dunedin Central

Located in central Dunedin, this well appointed studio is newly renovated and features a modern, stylish design. It is a great starting location if you want to explore wider Dunedin. The kitchenette allows you to make simple meals and drinks. There are local restaurants just down the street. It’s within walking distance to the city centre where you’ll find more restaurants, stores, and cafes. Free private parking available.
