The Roaming Gnome Guest Ranch is a modern take on Solvang’s historic Danish culture. Mid-century cottages are freshly renovated and decorated in happy, bright tones, fun kitsch, and clean comfort. Parking is provided on-site, so you’ll be able to ditch the wheels and walk anywhere in town within minutes.

Our private studio is great for couples or single professionals who need a quiet place to work. Studio is furnished with one Queen bed and a two twin beds (trundle bed comes from underneath the twin bed in the picture. Private bathroom and access to our backyard, some guests have used it for Yoga, Meditation and for their kids to run around 10 minute drive to downtown and/or main beaches. Private parking space included for one vehicle. Only minutes from hiking trails, UCSB, Beach, etc.

UCSB, Santa Barbara Airport, car rentals, Amtrak train, LAX Airbus, Santa Barbara. 5 to 15 min drive. 5 min. walk to MTD Bus-lines/15 walk to Starbucks, Traders Joe. Not suitable for infants or children.

Newly remodeled bedroom (with cal king bed), attached bathroom, patio with private entrance, and self check-in. Across the street there is a nature preserve with a 1.5 mile walking path offering bird watching, Los Carneros Lake, and the historic Stow House. The house is 2-stories with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms above the unit. The bedrooms above are carpeted, and we insulated the ceiling above you in an attempt to mitigate the noise, but the 60 year old floors can squeak.

Recently remodeled studio. Studio has private entrance and one private parking space. King size bed makes a great place to relax, only 5 minute drive to UCSB, Cottage Hospital and Goleta pier/beach. We have the fastest WIFI internet available in the area so working from the studio is not a problem. Studio shares a wall with the main house but we are a quiet family so noise should not be an issue. New appliances and smart TV. Water softener and filter system throughout.

Guest suite is attached to main home in a quiet neighborhood, has own entrance, 1 parking space and outdoor terrace/grass area.

So enjoyed being out of town, but so close to everything! Our only regret is we did not have longer to stay. ***What a wonderful studio that offers beautiful views of the mountains.

Private outside deck space. Two walkable blocks to Bob’s Well Bread Bakery and Holy Grounds Cafe.

For couples, adventurers, and business travelers. Kitchenette has a small fridge, sink, coffee maker and hot water kettle. No stove or microwave inside the studio. Apple TV in the studio. Sorry, no pets allowed. We will provide a pack n’ play for babies.

Very comfy beds, even sofabed, safe quiet neighborhood. One cal king bed in br+ sofabed in LR. Peaceful serene patio. Perfect for 2, ok for 3. BA is compact, with shower, toilette, sink sharing same tiled floor, but still well stocked with amenities.
