The homes are a short 20 minute drive from the Skye Bridge and offer a centrally located base from which to explore the island. Lusa Bothy is a luxury getaway location for couples on the Isle of Skye. It was the idea of the owner to renovate an old stone building into an amazing space with a feast for the senses in mind. High end, bespoke creations and craftsmanship completed by professional artisans using local materials and artwork, some of which are over 250 years old, make Lusa Bothy a quirky mix of the old, the new, and the upcycled, wrapped in traditional, Highland warmth.

Cosy cabin situated in a private space in the garden of our home and looks out over stunning scenery across fields mountains and the sea. Made by a skilled craftsman, it has a grass roof and is insulated with sheep wool for year round comfort. It is truly a unique cosy cabin with a wonderful calm feel. Our guests comment on the comfortable bed and excellent night's sleep! The perfect location for exploring Skye, but stunning scenery right here.

The Wee Croft House, Secluded with Stunning Views

An original stone croft house in the romantic ‘Garden of Skye’ . A 20 minute drive from the Skye Bridge or if arriving by ferry from Mallaig to Armadale a 5-10 minute drive. The Wee Croft House offers stunning views over the sound of Sleat. Renovated to a high standard to ensure our guests stay is comfortable and relaxed, while retaining its traditional cosy charm.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.

THE STRAWBALE BOTHY SKYE: unique, cosy with views.

The Strawbale Bothy is made from simple, natural materials; wood, clay, straw and lime, there are no nasty chemicals, no concrete, and where we have had to use plastic, it is to an absolute minimum. Built just for two, feel free to kick off your shoes and coorie in after a bracing walk in the sea air or though misty glens.
