A tranquil country escape a short distance from the infamous Mourne Mountains. It has a large garden which is ideal for relaxing in the sun and a patio for socialising in the country air. Drumena Cottage, built in traditional Irish style, is a truly peaceful and comfortable getaway, with stunning views of the beautiful mountains of Mourne. Situated only minutes away from Castlewellan and Tollymore Forest Parks, it is surrounded by fields and its own expansive garden, with its own private off-the-road parking. Drumena Cottage is now fondly known as home of 'Dear Imelda', a wonderful, heartwarming short movie, set in the beautiful Kingdom of Mourne, now streaming on Disney+.

A home away from home, in the grounds of our family holiday home, the house is just 300m away from the entrance of Tollymore Forest Park. Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

The location is Ideal for those wishing to explore the stunning landscape or simply relax. The beautiful, newly renovated Ramblers Cottage is perfect for hikers, families or couples, not forgetting the dog of course! We allow a maximum of 2 small to medium sized dogs for a small fee.

Tullymore Luxury Log Cabin nestled in the foothills of the Mourne mountains, overlooking Tullymore Forest park. The natural beauty of this private property displays a 360 degree view of the Mourne Mountains, Dramara and Slieve Croob Mountains, sea It offers the luxury of watching the stars whilst basking in the fresh spring water log burning private hot tub for an additional cost of £50 per day. Refurbished 2 bedroom barn offering comfortable self catering accommodation. There is generous private parking available, a fully contained garden and bbq area. A separate utility/wet room and a locked store for guest use. The barn is furnished to a very high standard and tastefully decorated. Gracey's barn is situated in an excellent location close to the Mourne Mountains and Slieve Gullion, 40 minutes from Belfast and 70 minutes from Dublin City Centre.

Enjoy the setting of this romantic Luxury Mountain Escapes on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack. Look out for Honey the Falabella pony and afew goats.
