Stedet er et ideelt utgangspunkt for fjellturer, for å utforske Bergen og fjordene, eller kun nyte fred og ro og fjordutsikt på Norges største innlandsøy. Flåm, Voss, Hardanger og Trolltunga er i dagsturavstand.

Setra vår vart bygget på 1940 tallet, til seterjenter som passet på kuene om sommeren. Den har enkel standard med solcelleanlegg, ett lite kjøkken og toalett. Det er kort vei til bla. fjelltoppene, Bruviknipa og Olsnessåta. Dette er ein unik mulighet til å oppleve norsk natur, i en original seter. Det tar ca 10 minutter å gå fra parkeringsplassen.

Historic house in the center of Bergen

The Little white house is a historic house from the 1700`s a three-storey Nordnes dwelling in the center of Bergen, Norway. Nordnes is a favorite among both Bergen Citizens and visitors. The peninsula contains parks, places to swim, a collection of cafes, restaurants and shops. Walking distance to all city attractions. In 5 min walking distance you will find the popular Aquarium in Bergen, and About 7-8 min. walk to city center and Fisketorget.

Solbakken Mikrohus

Mikrohuset ligger i fredfylte og naturskjønne omgivelser i Solbakken- tunet på Os. Fremfor huset ligger Galleri Solbakkestova med sin tilhørende skulpturhage som alltid er åpen for allmenheten. Rundt huset beiter geiter, og man har utsikt over noen frittgående høns, og noen alpakkaer på den andre siden av veien. Huset har terrasser på begge sider, hvor det er herlig å sitte å ta inn omgivelsene og kjenne på roen. Det er også flotte turstier like ved.
