Terebinte Guest Farm Tented Treehouse

Nestled beneath the towering beauty of God's Window and surrounded by lush plantations, our cozy, rustic farm offers a farm experience. As a working farm, Terebinte - "the tree where friends and family gather" - welcomes you to enjoy the charm of country life. Please note, our property is located deep within the forest, requiring a 3km drive on a dirt road. While the road is generally well-maintained, heavy rain may occasionally make it a bit slippery or uneven. We navigate it in small cars too.

The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

Please note NO Parties are tolerated here. Two Private Rooms with ensuite in a 2 Bedroom House set in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. The rooms have a outdoor and indoor shower and bath. Please note: Bathroom is open to the bedroom. I live in a little cottage next to the house so will be around 😎 Animals have the right of way here! SPEED LIMIT IS 30KM/H. Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

Numerous waterfalls on the way to the Blyde River Canyon with spectacular viewpoints. The Kruger Park is a mere 58 km away on safe roads entering at the Phabeni Gate Close enough for a day drive to spot the Big Five. Sabie has all the essential shops, supermarkets and excellent restaurants.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made. "My Side of the Mountain" is an ideal getaway for nature lovers, as mongoose, bushbabies, and antelope frequently wander through the area. A diverse array of birds also inhabits the surroundings, their constant songs creating a beautiful backdrop to the natural environment.
