This cosy hideaway offers a galleried mezzanine bedroom above an open plan spacious living area with wood burning stove, kitchen and shower room. We allow up to 3 well behaved pets who are NOT tempted by sheep. A 4x4 is required between October and April and recommended between April and October.

This is a lovely residential area and we ask that you are considerate of our neighbours who have to work each day so strictly no loud parties.

In the centre of the Unesco World Heritage site, Bodefryd is an unique, generously proportioned detached townhouse, with big, light rooms, high ceilings, and full of period features. The house is perfectly located for anything Eryri <Snowdonia>, with easy access to everywhere in the National Park. Bodefryd is also the kind of house you'd be happy spending a rainy day in. As hosts we are always trying to tread lighter with our world, and be kinder with all the humans.

Traditional 19th Century Slate Miners Cottage

A characterful original slate miner’s cottage dating from the late 1800s. Located in Tanygrisiau, just outside the historic slate-mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, the cottage is a short walk from local shops, amenities and the village pub. A narrow-gauge heritage steam railway runs along the bottom of the garden and can be seen from all rear-facing windows. Ideally placed for Llechwedd Slate Caverns, zip wires, mountain biking and mountain walks.

'The Hayloft' - a peaceful rural retreat for two

Set beside the apple orchard at The Old Sheep Farm in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), The Hayloft is a dog-friendly, one-bedroom crog-loft hideaway a short drive from the coast. This is our family holiday cottage in Blaenau-Ffestiniog. Walking distance to Zip World, Bounce below and Llechwedd slate caverns. Blaenau-Ffestiniog is ideally located to explore Snowdonia National park. Approx. 10 miles to great beaches (Porthmadog, Harlech) and other picturesque towns such as Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert. Catch the historic Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadog or explore Portmeirion village.

The lodge is situated in the village of Gellilydan, in the Snowdonia National Park. There is a wide range of activities in the area. ( Yr Wyddfa, Mount Snowdon, Black Rock Sands beach, Portmeirion village, Coed Y Brenig, Mountain biking, the Ffestiniog Railway, Bala Lake and some local walks to name a few).
