Walking distance to the breath-taking Silversands Beach. 3min drive to the penguin colony. 10min drive to Botanical gardens. 20min drive to Palmiet river swimming and hiking. Thalassa has soul and many happy moments have been spent here in this idyllic haven.

Whale Huys is a Self-catering, direct oceanfront villa with panoramic views of Walker Bay and the Klein Rivier Mountains. Perfect for a relaxing holiday away, just 2 hours from Cape Town. With its stunning views and just the sounds of nature, Whale Huys seems far removed from the busy hustle and bustle of our daily lives. but is close to the wineries and renowned country restaurants the area is famous for. Outdoor and cultural activities abound. Just 5 min. from Gansbaai for shopping.

Mountain & Sea Cottage

A neat comfortable flat in a peaceful neighbourhood, a 500m walk away from the Onrus to Sandbaai coastal path. Great locations for swimming, surfing, diving or just catching some sun rays. If you like mountain biking or hiking the mountains are also just around the corner. The stoep features a wood fired hot tub and fire pit and looks towards the mountains and a stand of bluegums which attracts a lot of bird life. The flat is on our property but is completely separate with secure parking.

Breathe Cottage

This lovely, fresh and comfortable holiday home in the artistic village of Onrusrivier is 15 min walk from the beach, lagoons and coastal footpaths. Offers amazing entertainment area, perfect for lazy breakfasts and barbecue in the evenings. Close to family-friendly activities and walking distance from lovely restaurants and even a cocktail bar. Wifi, 1 plate gas stove and chargeable lights available during loadshedding. The house comes fully decorated and furnished as seen on pictures.

Garden Suite, Sandstone House, Franschhoek

Lovely garden suite set in peaceful garden, is elegantly decorated with a bath, en-suite bathroom and shower. The room is fully equipped with a Generator, TV, Wi-Fi, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea & Nespresso coffee facilities, air-conditioning, heating, hairdryer, etc. The room leads onto its own private garden, where you enjoy the magnificent view of the Franschhoek mountains. Enjoy a swim in the swimming pool or a game of tennis or walks in the vineyards and rose garden.

Under milkwoods

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Louise will be there to welcome you on your arrival.

Familie Huis

Familie Huis is a much loved family home overlooking a river wetland and surrounded by pristine fynbos. A central feature of the wonderfully spacious downstairs area is a huge inside hearth for roaring fires (or to braai or cook). It's an absolutely brilliant house for winter getaways - warm and cosy (and also great for families with small children). Its perfectly situated - a five minute walk to the beach as well as all village amenities.

Penguin House

Imagine being on an Island with endless spectacular views of the ocean, listening to the murmur of the sea on a quiet night or the wildly wonderful noise of crashing waves. Picture yourself enjoying a sundowner while penguins roam the garden. At Penguin House, this image becomes a reality with double-volume glass sliding doors and windows inviting nature right into the light-filled open-plan living area.
