Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Cycle to Zipworld and beyond

This traditional quarrymans cottage is full of character, with lots of quirky features, well situated to make the most of what Snowdonia has to offer, 10 minutes stroll along Lon Las Ogwen cycle path to Zip World, Europes longest zipwire. Private sunny garden with table and chairs for alfresco dining. 10 minute woodland walk through to Bethesda High St with Tesco Express, Londis and a range of takeaways and pubs and amenities. Great walks from the doorstep up to the Ogwen valley and lakes beyond

Situated on the North Wales coast, at the foot of the Carneddau Mountains and with views across to the Isle of Anglesey, this beautifully renovated former Smithy, just off the A55, is the perfect location for exploring the treasures of North Wales. Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. Tan Lon Cottage is an idyllic break away.

Situated within the grounds of Bryn Llys, it offers a tranquil setting with ten acres of gardens, lake and woodland to explore and relax in. Close to the border of Snowdonia National park, the cottage is a 10 min walk to local amenities in the village of Bethesda. Hafan is a short walk from Zip World and is well located to explore all that the beautiful surrounding area has to offer.

You’ll love my place because its a traditional grade 2 listed welsh cottage fully refurbished and set in a small hamlet within the countryside. My place is good for couples, walkers, solo adventurers, business travellers and small families. PLEASE NOTE: This is a small village located a couple of miles from the main A55 road there are no shops in the village itself. Tesco is a 5 min drive away

The Riverside Hideout with Hot Tub is the perfect base to explore North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park come rain or shine! The property is located right next to the spectacular river Ogwen at Ogwen Bank Caravan & Lodge Park. The clever canopy offers some shelter from the elements so the hot tub can be any time of the year. The pod offers one double room with privacy curtain and in the upstairs two single beds which are accessed via a ladder.

Set beside the apple orchard at The Old Sheep Farm in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), The Hayloft is a dog-friendly, one-bedroom crog-loft hideaway a short drive from the coast.
