The Pod on the Hill

Situated approx.2.5 miles outside the village of Port Ellen, the POD offers peace, quiet and relaxation after exploring the distilleries and the joys of the Island. Port Ellen and Laphroaig can be seen from the POD which overlooks Kilnaughton Bay. The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. The Sea View Cottage, Kintyre Coast, Scotland

Just 5 minutes from the Gigha ferry and 20 minutes from Islay ferries, it’s a perfect base for exploring Scotland’s West Coast. A 10-minute walk from the shore and Beacharr Standing Stone, the cottage offers direct access to coastal paths and surrounding landscape. The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

Gartartan Port Ellen Modern home with sea views

Gartartan provides stylish and contemporary accommodation with stunning sea views towards Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen (within 1 km) and beyond to Kintyre. Distilleries nearby. Gartartan is spacious with efficient underfloor heating and insulation. The open-plan living area has an abundance of light, wooden flooring throughout and a modern wood-burning stove. With four double bedrooms and three bathrooms Gartartan can accommodate six adults comfortably. Enclosed garden/ parking.

Portbahn holiday house, close to distillery

Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. This modern waterfront house sits right on Islay's scenic coastal route with stunning loch views. Sleeps 8 across 3 ground-floor bedrooms—perfect for families. Large enclosed garden with trampoline and swings. Walk to Bruichladdich Distillery (10 mins), beaches, and coastal paths. Underfloor heating and wood-burner make it cosy year-round. Dogs welcome. Your island home awaits!

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Lower Garden Flat

This lower flat has a combined kitchen and lounge. The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster and kettle. There is access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. They are in the wooden shed nearest the flats. TV is provided. Extra blankets are provided for bedrooms. There is drawer and wardrobe space. The flat is heated by storage heaters. All bed linen and towels are provided. An outdoor seating area is provided and there is off road parking. Wifi is provided.

Daisy cabin with wood fired hot tub & wood burner

Daisy cabin is a comfortable yet modern one bedroom log cabin nestled into the woods. Daisy features a small bathroom, kitchen, lounge area and bedroom alongside an outdoor wraparound deck complete with gate for keeping dog in or mine out . Hot tub area where you can relax under the stars. The outdoor space also has bbq and dining area. Turn left or right at bottom ofdrive & you will arrive at beach , or just take in Bird life in the valley .

Starchmill Holiday Pod (Bruichladdich)

The Bruichladdich Pod sleeps up to 2 people, consisting of one bedroom with double bed, a toilet/shower room and a living area with double sofa bed. It also has a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and table with 4 chairs. The pod is accessed through large patio doors which are perfect for enjoying the panoramic view. There is a large decking area in front with a picnic bench to enjoy dining al fresco.
