I nærheten finnes det mange flotte turområder. Mulighet for sykkelturer, utflukter med lokal fiskebåt, SUP, Kajakkturer, Restauranter, Pub mm. Stedet ligger midt i Lofoten med 1 times bilkjøring til Å i vest og Svolvær i øst. Handelssted Leknes og Leknes flyplass er ca. 15 min. unna. Rorbu har fantastisk utsikt mot Lofotveggen, Mosken og Værøy

Moderne rorbu, ny 2018, til leie på Ballstad. Utsikt til store deler av den kjente Lofotveggen. Fjellene med turstier rett utenfor døren. Den populære Hauklandstranda ligger ca 15 minutter fra rorbua. Leknes by, flyplass og hurtigruten i kort avstand til rorbua. Ønsker du å prøve lykken i den fiskerike Vestfjorden, er leie av båt mulig. I månedene jan-april pågår det kjente Lofotfisket, og du kan oppleve dette fisket på Ballstad, som er et av Lofotens største og livskraftige fiskevær.

The modern fisherman's cabin is spacious, it has two floors with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is glass in almost the entire front, that allows you to get as close to the nature as possible. Spacious veranda with marina just below.
