There are also shops in the Cajun Village that have Louisiana themed decor, souvenirs and artwork. Tanger Outlets in Gonzales is located 6 miles down I-10W. Can sleep four with two per bed but better with just two. 2 miles from I10 exit 173, 2 miles from Airline Hwy (US 61) Just 60 miles from downtown New Orleans, 15 minutes from Baton Rouge. 8 miles from Lamar Dixon Expo center. Close to fine dining or fast food. The Rustic cottage is in the back of our property. It has a privacy fence, but is not completely fenced. Nice covered deck with large TV and carport

The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. We have fishing poles, a boat lift should you choose to bring your own boat, swings and outdoor seating, and all the creature comforts you need to enjoy your stay.
