Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food; or try some home raised, rare breed pork over the firepit grill, then a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

School Cottage, Hexham.

Situated in a secluded location, within easy level walking distance of Hexham market town centre, School Cottage is a unique building; a great base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. The cottage has two ensuite bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has an electric wood burning effect stove with satellite TV. The flat is located on the first floor, affording lovely views on all sides, and has its own seperate access, assuring complete privacy. Chollerton lies only one mile north of the World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall and the flat provides a charming and secluded base from which to explore beautiful Northumberland.

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.
