Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Garmisch Ski Cabin - Raven

Cute family cabin .2 miles from Alyeska Day Lodge and lifts. Walk to skiing in the winter or hike up Mount Alyeska to the tram in the summer. Walkable to local restaurants and shops. This is a family cabin with a cozy feel and an upstairs and a downstairs unit, both of which may be rented. This is for the upstairs unit, with a full bathroom, three bedrooms with two queen and two full beds, and a full kitchen. Add extra kids by contacting the host. Step outside and you're already on the mountain, with easy access to skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. Start your day with breakfast downstairs at The Bake Shop, spend the day exploring the mountain or town, and then unwind at either the Sitzmark or Jack Sprat while enjoying great food and drinks!

Hope H.U.B. Have. U. Been?

The beautiful community of Hope is a two hour drive from Anchorage. Hope HUB offers summer and winter trails for hiking, biking and skiing. PILOTS: the runway is a 10 minute walk, tie down the saucer and ride our community beater bikes into town for food and music. The Hope HUB has great views of the surrounding mountains on both sides. Use our outdoor fire pit, stocked with wood. Meet Wally our resident walrus and enjoy a truly extraterrestrial experience.

Our fully remodeled slope-side getaway is located at the base of Alyeska with gorgeous views of the mountain. Just a short 2 min walk from the ski lifts, the Sitzmark Bar & Grill, and only 1 min from the fantastic Jack Sprat restaurant, our location cannot be beat. The unit comes complete with everything needed to cook full meals, relax after a day in the mountains, and get a wonderful night's sleep to wake up refreshed for more adventures!
