It’s about 6 miles from Stone Mountain Park with lots of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming holes and waterfall watching. If that’s not your thing head over to Elkin, NC and do some wine tours/tasting. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, no need to leave the cabin. There are on-site games and VHS movies. Hurrican Helene did not damage the area. HWY 421 to 77 to 21 is open. Enjoy the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where the second oldest river runs through!
