The Cottage is located in the bottom of fjord Ólafsfjörður, in the mountains. It has two bedrooms, a living room and a private geothermal hot tub in a garden-in-house area, that can be opened up to the terrace. The cottage is well equipped (fully equipped kitchen & washing machine) has WIFI for guests to use, and quality mattresses made up with comfortable linen, soft towels and warm blankets. The area is extremely peaceful. In the backyard is a heated football court and a playground for kids.

PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities.
