Inspired by the myth of the Minotaur, I’ll lead you in a hands-on workshop that invites you to create while connecting with Greek history and art. • I’ll welcome you with some local Greek snacks, juices, and coffee, as I introduce the history of Keramikos and its ties to Greek pottery. • Next, I’ll share the captivating story of the Minotaur, a mythical creature symbolizing desire and human challenges. We’ll draw inspiration from this legend to craft four individual relief tiles, which you’ll be able to take home to use as coasters or wall art. • Then, working collaboratively, we’ll combine your individual tiles so they become part of a larger unified, shared creation. You’ll take home a ceramic souvenir crafted by me, along with photos of your work and the group’s project. Together, we’ll spend the day combining creativity with mythology, leaving you with memorable ceramic art and a deeper appreciation for Greek culture.

Our hike will start from the mountain village Filoti and through a hike in place and time following mountain paths, we will get in touch with this lands history , from the very first signs of habitation in 6000 BC till modern times. In our hike we will see mountain fountains , Zas cave, which according the legend is the place where young Zeus found refuge to avoid Cronus vengeful rage. From Zas mountain peak we will enjoy the panoramic view which under good weather conditions encloses whole south Aegean sea , from Crete to Asia Minor coasts. Alternatively the hike can skip mountain Zas peack and include just the part till Zas cave , diminishing the hiking time to 2,5 hours
