Cottage is 100 yards from mile-long sandy beach and Minaun Cliffs - among highest in Europe. The Toolis family have lived here for over 400 years. The deserted Dookinella stone village still stands in the field nextdoor. Keel village is a 5-minute drive with restaurants, local butcher selling Achill lamb and fisherman selling from boat. This little oasis is positioned on a south facing hill, overlooking a wide expanse of valley, tucked away from everything but yet a 5min drive from Westport Town. A wood-fired hot tub sits on the spacious deck, overlooking the valley. After bathing in the hot tub make your way up the external staircase to the balcony (which connects to the bedroom), where you can relax in the hammock and take in the amazing views.

There is endless walking and climbing with Connemara National Park on the doorstep. The cottage is located along the Wild Atlantic Way within easy driving distance of beautiful beaches at Letterfrack and Renvyle. Kylemore Abbey and Gardens are just across the lake outside the door which is suitable for fishing with boat hire also available

This house is perfectly located to all the nearby amenities, the lake is at your back door and the beach is just across the road. You are in walking distance to the shop there are numerous restaurants and pubs nearby. Lots of water activities on the lake and on the sea. This house is spacious with a shed out the back which can be used to store surfboards etc. Picnic bench and BBQ area, perfect for family's.
